OVERVIEW

A powerhouse of style and versatility with both single-coil and humbucking sounds.

Fender Custom Shop Master Builder Yuriy Shishkov has designed an entirely original model for the Classic Player Series that blends '60s and '70s styling with modern high-performance. The Classic Player Strat HH has special touches including dual Wide Range Special humbucking pickups, five-way switching with coil splitting for more traditional single-coil Stratocaster sounds, and a sultry Dark Mercedes Blue gloss finish with a matching headstock.

Other features include a maple neck with a comfortable '60s "C"-shaped profile, bound rosewood fingerboard with 9.5" radius and 22 medium jumbo frets, three-ply black pickguard, two-point synchronized tremolo bridge with modern plate and vintage-style saddles, and vintage-style Fender "F"-stamped tuners. Deluxe gig bag included.

Comments about Fender Classic Player HH Stratocaster Rosewood Fingerboard Electric Guitar:

Ok, so I've had 4 or 5 MIM strats along the way and hated every last one of them. The sound was dull flat and no sustain. Even the Jimmy Vaughn one. I saw this axe on MF and read a lot of reviews and really did my homework. I took a chance and picked it up. First the bad.... hmm no bad to report. Yeah, it's Mexican, but the thing is a dream to play. Sustain all day long, frets are not sharp, intonation is spot on and the pickups are really nicely voiced. This guitar is worth the money, which is considerable. Did I mention the color is very sweet. The whammy bar is tight and no slop. all in all, this is my new go to guitar. I've been playing since 1962 and have some nice high end guitars. If this thing captures your interest, try it out. You will be pleasently surprised.
