Comments about Fender Classic Player Telecaster Thinline Deluxe Electric Guitar:
I played this guitar on several recent visits to a [@]. I'm not particularly fond of the classic "twangy" sound of Tele's with single coil pickups, but was very impressed with this Thinline Tele with humbuckers.I play rock, jazz and blues, both with a pick and finger-style. The guitar had incredible playability for the price (and I was surprised to see it was a Mexican model), and a wonderful variety of tones. Played through various tube amps. For the fingerstyle jazz, it was very responsive and had wonderful warm tones. I was pleasantly surprised by the nice attack I could get playing it fingerstyle. On two of my visits, several other customers in the store came by to hear what kind of guitar I was playing, and asked to play it too.Planning to buy this little beauty soon!
Comments about Fender Classic Player Telecaster Thinline Deluxe Electric Guitar:
This is a really great guitar. You can get a wide range of tones with the humbuckers and it is significantly different to a American Standard Tele that I also own. Build quality is excellent. I wish the finish was nitro instead of poly.. But having said that the finish quality is excellent (even in the F holes.) I believe the quality is very close to the american std. You will not regret buying this axe. It is really good value for money. I am so convinced I am going to order the classic player Jaguar as well. I play this through a Fender Supersonic 112 and a Marshall JVM 410. Great Tone, versatility and classic vibe, for the money you just have to try one.

My bass player that I recently got together with , turned me on to Tab Benoit, Ive heard his music before but not a hole CD, Amazing, Tab plays the Thinline Tele . So I went to a local guitar store and tried one on for size, I was inpressed when I started to play it , it felt great ,played great and sounded so awesome. I just wish I had the cash right there to pick one up, guess im gonna have to sell some equipment , cause I really want one . I was really amazed when I looked on the headstock and noticed it was made in mexico......just blows me away.. Im getting one soon. thanks Fender.
