The Fender FA135CE Concert Acoustic Guitar is built on the concert-style platform for a sleek, modern design. The laminated spruce top features X-bracing for bright, punchy tone, ideal for lead guitar. The neck is nato, and the back and sides are laminated basswood—both tone woods known for letting the mid and high frequencies sing out.
Thanks to the basswood back and sides, the Fender FA135CE is very light, avoiding strain to your neck or back during prolonged playing. The chrome tuners offer precision tuning. The guitar also features an impressive electronics system, featuring the Fishman ION-T preamp and built-in chromatic tuner, which provides lightning-fast tuning and amplification. The preamp features a volume dial, phase and contour buttons, and a tuner power button.
The FA135CE is fashioned with a natural gloss polyurethane finish, aged fretboard and body bindings, and a white concentric ring rosette that offers a striking contrast, and an appearance as beautiful as its sound.

This is a must have for any musician out there. In general this is a well rounded instrument that need not be overlooked because of the price. Fender payed attention to detail, all the way down to the strings. Despite the value your getting, your also getting a guitar that's probably twice what MF is selling it for. Good job MF and Good job Fender.
The electronics on this guitar are awesome. You are allowed to tailor your sound pretty much how you want. Fishman says it all.
Being a Fender, quality is one thing they are known for. I wouldn't expect anything else from Fender.
Honestly, This is pretty much why i bought it. I figured 150 wasn't much to lose if it didn't work out for me, but boy was i suprised.

This Guitar sounds ok and has decent features..my main dislike would be the inner electronics (made in china of course)..definatly a guitar for begginers. I have played electric guitar for years and never had an acoustic so i figured i would buy a cheap acoustic electric and i got what i payed for. im happy with my purchase but i would recommend this for someone who is a begginer or wants to build strength and accuracy which is why i bought it ... whoever is learning how to play at the moment or looking to buy their first guitar should start with an acoustic or acoustic/electric and you will find that playing an electric is suprisingly easy

no talent and tone deaf but love it when I get it. This guitar has a great feel and good to great action. Great for the riffs and easy to chord. It has a bright sound so experiment with some strngs to get the sound you like. It's great for my small hands and two back surgeries. It makes it easy and fun. I'll Definently take to all the camp fires and just lamming. LOVE IT

When I purchased this guitar I was looking for a cheap acoustic that I could play around the house and I wouldn't be heartbroken if it got dinged up. Basically I wanted a beater. I play mostly electric guitar. I have a bunch of really high end electrics that I love but I missed having an acoustic around the house. Right out of the box I was disappointed but I wasn't expecting much. The action was pretty bad. I tweaked the neck and sanded down the bridge saddle quite a bit now it plays like a dream. I first tried John Pearce extra light 10's on it and it sounded really thin and tinny but I put a set of Elixir Polyweb Custom Light 11's on it and it sounds full and beautiful. I'm really happy with this purchase. It took a little trial and error and some tlc but the result was a guitar that is easy to play and sounds great. As far as looks it's pretty basic. The top is really light which I'm not crazy about but it will darken some with age. I removed the pickguard and I think it improved the overall look of the guitar. The electronics are decent it sounds pretty good through a tube amp. The on board tuner is handy. For the money you can't go wrong. I'm not sure I'd recommend this guitar for a beginner only because right out of the box it was pretty hard to play and I've been playing for almost 20 years.

Overal it's worth the price........
It's a good starter guitar and it sounds pretty good to me,I've played guitar for 30 years so I've played numerous guitars.I've had it for 3 months now and I have only had to tune it 2 times so it will stay in tune and I play it everyday.

I recommend this for the beginner to upper intermediate player.
Pick ups and tuner are fairly good, not a professionals guitar. Furniture is solid, but not top of the line.
The body is lightweight and solid construction. The finish is heavy and glassy.
The overal quality is pretty good, it is a budget guitar.
The sound is actually good plugged in! Acoustically, it sounds a bit tinny, not a warm quality.
It comes set up okay, strings are nice and not rusty, and it does come with a battery, patch chord and truss wrench!
For the price +/- this guitar is very good.
