Comments about Fender FSR Paisley Telecaster Electric Guitar:
Great new color on the original flower power series makes it collectable.
It also looks a bit like the James Burton Tele.
I own the pink strat and tele from the 2003 release as well as the bass,
I also have a 69 Flower Power Tele so this one rounds out a collection, I will get the strat as well and upgrade it as outlined below:
This one will get all new electronics inc brass shaft pots, cloth insulated copper wire, copper grounding tape, top of the line switch and US Custom Shop Fender pickups as well as orange drop caps. I may try Dan Armstrong pickups.
I do wish they had used the old style bridge with ash tray and I may buy 2 one as a player and modify it and keep the other as a collectable in that case I will replace the hardware to 69 specs.

Comments about Fender FSR Paisley Telecaster Electric Guitar:
Got one of these and had for about a month now.
Beautiful finish, straight neck and usual quality electronics and hardware for this price range.
I may upgrade the pups in the future but only for personal preference, the stock ones work just fine.
MF as always was quick and shipping was top notch.
I have purchased many music products online and MF is at the top of the heap ... A+ service all the way. No need to order anywhere else, it doesn't get any better!

Comments about Fender FSR Paisley Telecaster Electric Guitar:
All I can say is WOW!
I have a custom Nash tele that goes for around 3K with my choice of a 3.6 lb 1 piece body and Lolar pickups.
I prefer this one over it.
Just WOW

Comments about Fender FSR Paisley Telecaster Electric Guitar:
Beautiful finish. Beautiful feel from the moment you hold it. Nice fret finishing, perfect set up out of the box. Low string height with no fret buzz and nearly perfect intonation. Tone is soulful, creamy, glassy, full, warm, especially when rolling back tone knob a bit. A real dream when played through my Fender Amps.Definitely worth the wait.

Comments about Fender FSR Paisley Telecaster Electric Guitar:
Well to put it plainly,Fender has out done themselves on this guitar. Not only is it beautiful but its great to play. This axe is as good as any American made tele. Sound quality and the beauty is out standing. Get one if you can because there selling out fast. I had to wait on mine but so glad i did. I believe this guitar will be a very rare one and will do nothing but go up in value. Thanks again Fender.

Comments about Fender FSR Paisley Telecaster Electric Guitar:
I'll make this simple, 25+ years playing. US Fenders, Gibsons, etc. This guitar is the ultimate fake out.
I have some MIM's that have been customized, but this may as well have been made on this side of the border. Actually, this is nicer than a US Tele I own. If you remember the old Tokai copies, this is on par. Only complaint I have, is I didn't snag a couple for friends, when they were in stock! When they are back on the market, they really need some type of case/bag, just for transit. Foam wrap is too lame. Gracias Fender.
Tech stuff, the Pickups sound much nicer than other MIMs, overall fit and finish is great, even the frets seem to have been given attention to at Baja facility. Obviously, string change is in order, set-up needed one tweek (high action), and the strap mounts seem a bit large, so don't be stuned if you have to fight with a strap, or change them out to locking. Rock On.

Comments about Fender FSR Paisley Telecaster Electric Guitar:
I own $4000 PRS guitars and I have to say right off the bat this guitar is absolutely amazing for the price it sells for. If MIM Fenders guitars are a hit or miss, this particular unit I got is a grand slam. The price point for which they sell this is downright amazing.
If someone told me this was a USA Tele, I would probably believe them. The guitar has good weight, didn't have sharp frets, and craftmanship was very good overall. I did however change the strings, tightened the tuners, lube the nut/saddle, and set it up once I got it, but I think all guitars require that, even USA made ones.
For someone who prefers the PRS Pattern neck, Fender's modern C shaped neck was very easy to adjust to. The maple neck has a satin finish on the back, and a gloss finish on the finger board side. Frets are medium jumbo frets and the tuners are plain ol non locking standard tuners.
The body is made of alder and has a really decorative black paisley that fades nicely into the edges. I'm a huge fan of paisley so that's what initially caught my eye. My only beef is that I wish the body was contoured in the back. The back is flat and it sticks out into your ribs if your playing it sitting down. I know the new 2012 models have contoured the back for comfort.
The pickups that came equipped with the guitar are regular standard telecaster pickups (which sound really good to me btw). So I don't have any plans to swap them out anytime soon.
The treble pickup has that bite only a telecaster could do, and the neck pickup is sweet and juicy. The bridge pickup played through my Mesa really brings a good crunch sound. Playability was solid once I spent some time and got it set up. The EAD strings intonated really easily, but the GBE string intonation took a bit more work. It's all good now though.
Overall I rate this buy as A+.
Great, great value. I'm certainly a believer in MIM Fenders. I'll probably most likely pick up another MIM Fender in the future.

Comments about Fender FSR Paisley Telecaster Electric Guitar:
A friend mentioned this Black Paisley to me, I am so glad he did. This guitar played well out of the box, and unlike other MIM Fender's, the sound is a nice full range, versus the thin, washed out until replaced, norm. The finish is simply cool. The Paisley seems to have, at the correct angle, little alien faces, accident, or planned?
Only complaint, no real protection for shipping. I use gig bags as packaging, and this had a thin foam wrap, and a cardboard box. A bag would be nice. Jury's still out on the pickup selector top, it's the old top, the inverted hat I've heard it called. It makes changes a moment longer, but that opinion.

Comments about Fender FSR Paisley Telecaster Electric Guitar:
I mainly play at home, and mostly Strats. I have been playing off and on for 40 years, and this is my 1st Tele. Fit and Finish are excellent. Playability is spot on. The only thing I thought was weird was that it came without a gig bag...but that certainly is no dealbuster. All in all, a great Tele to get me started!
