Pros: Made out of similar woods as the Taylor 810. The Rosewood back is gorgeous. The Maple top is pure and fine. Sound is surprisingly good for an off the shelf Fender, both acoustically and through a quality acoutic guitar amp. The Abalone Rosette, Fender Logo, and Tipped Bridge Pins are a nice touch you wouldn't expect of a guitar in this price range. The same is true of the Tortoise Shell Body Binding and Shell Heel Cap. Beautiful Gold Hardware.Cons: Made in Korea, doesn't hold its value, buy it for its value as a user but don't expect a monetary return. Mine has minor inconsistancies in the finish, mediocre Q.C. The neck is too narrow for me to easily finger with my slightly wider than normal fingers, I'm a big guy. Could use a built-in tuner like the Ovations.I am giving an overall rating of 10, not because I am 100% thrilled with the guitar, but because when you compare its selling price to its attributes and components, it really is a great deal. It's not a Taylor, doesn't sound like one, but if you don't have the cash for one and you like a narrow neck, this works.BTW I use mine with a Peavey ECOUSTIC 112 EFX, and that's a fantastic amp, a surprise from a company known for their modest equipment.

Beastly Guitar

By Holychikenz

from Tallahasse, Fl

This Guitar has a beautiful tone that matches that of some of the 2000 dollar Taylors and Martins I've played. I really love the black headstock design that gives it a more unique look. One thing I noticed about this guitar was it was much heavier than the other guitars in its price range, and thus is produces a much deeper and mellow sound.

Great Guitar

By Hoosier47130

Had this guitar for a couple of years before I sold it because I thought I had too many guitars. Big mistake, I haven't been able to find a better guitar in this price range yet. Sounded great through my D888 recorder, my amp and unplugged. You can't go wrong here. Buy it!

When I tried this guitar it felt like it was custom built especially for me! Everything about it was instantly right - the action and balance, and especially the sound.A very flexible instrument tone-wise means I now only need to take one acoustic to all our gigs and recording sessions. The controls are excellent, well laid out, and logical to use.As we play at high volumes, it's great to find an acoustic electric I can plug in and play without worrying about feedback problems, whilst still being able to reproduce all the subtleties for a great acoustic sound.Fender have beaten all comers with this guitar - it was a "no brainer" to choose this over the Takamine, Taylor and Martin equivalents, even though price wasn't a factor for me, I made a significant saving by buying the Fender.

Best Guitar I've Ever Played!

By Kyle-tpoR7

from Oak Harbor, WA

This guitar is amazing! It's extremely solid. You can tell it was built very well. I have owned many different acoustic guitars, but this one is the best. It sounds great plugged in too! You have total control over the sound. It also never goes out of tune. A+++

Outstanding value and perfomance. You won't be disappointed. I chose this over a higher priced Martin. Excellent sound.
