The awesome neck on the Fender Highway One Telecaster is lightning fast. Fender has stripped down their American Tele, applied a lighter finish, and gone back to a vintage fretboard, neck joint, and 3-saddle bridge to give you true American quality for a lot less. Genuine alder body with rosewood or maple fretboard, and unmistakable Fender tone from an American Special pickup at the bridge with staggered pole pieces and alnico magnets. Medium-jumbo frets, a 3-ply black-white-black pickguard, and gorgeous satin finishes make the Highway One Telecaster sweet to play and sweeter to look at. Fender includes a deluxe gig bag with your Highway One.

my friend bought it and let me have a go for an hour, neck pickup was fantastic, bridge pickup was clear as crystal, tone was great, its basically what a telecaster should be, a well rounded great to play instrument thats well worth the money
This is a USA made Telecaster the way they used to make them in the 60's. They are the real deal. If you like a working guitar, with no fancy curly tops and shined up finishes, then get yourself one of these puppies. They look vintage out of the box, and sound great.
I bought the three color sunburst about a mounth ago after lusting after it for almost a year. The neck pick up has an excellent tone that blends well with an accoustic player and the bridge pick up is twangy enough to cut through a full band. I love the fast neck and smooth finish. This is definatly the best guitar I own.
I desperately wanted an awesome tele, the problem was, I am 14, so I really dont have a job. This "no frills" tele has all the great tones you can get out of high end Telecasters, but is half the price, and is still American Made. I have had my sunburst HW 1 for 4 months now, and I havent yet gotten over how great the tones, playability, quality, and overall balance of this guitar are, it sounds amazing even through my crappy amps........
I just got the sunburst telecaster and its my 5th guitar and its by far the best guitar that I own or played. I was gonna go for a gibson V but I am happy that I went with the highway one. The neck is smooth and lightning fast. great twang sounding. I read a review on this site that said the highway one is not good for metal or hard rock but I ran it through my boss mt-2 and it sounds as metal as can be. It is an amazing guitar that can play any type of music you want and the price is phenomenal. I recommend it to anyone.
This guitar is great. The finish on the sunburst model is awesome and it does not wear down easily. The sound is great. I have compared this to a deluxe American Telecaster and the sounds and tones are almost identical. This is a great guitar for its pricepoint and I love it very much.
this is the exact same guitar as the telecaster american that is more expensive. there are two differences 1) this one doesn't have a glossy finish like the other, and 2) this one is less money. i played both of them they sound the same and i like it better without the gloss anyway, it looks like it's been used :)
Sweet sounding, mix it with some reverb and it has that nice jazz/funk punch!
Extremely versatile, wonderful feel!
Clean vintage look and feel!
