It has great US sound. It's an average strat, but it's got a little more features.
This strat has it - the classic strat sound - all 5 pickup positions - it's well crafted alder, and I agree with what others have written - that the lighter finish (which despite it's cost decreasing looks quite appealing to me) - the lighter finish allows for the guitar to resonate well with what's played. The neck is great - slightly longer and narrower than a Gibson, it invites you to play it like what it is - a strat. As far as issues like the hardware etc - it's got what classic strats would have - vintage bridge. I'm lovin' this guitar.
Everything is great about this except that the bridge pickup has no tone control thereby making it more difficult to use the 3rd pickup very well.
This was my secong guitar. I bought it like 3 years ago, and it is a truc beauty. It blays like butter and has an excellent tromolo also. This guitar plays as good as my american deluxe fender and cost about 1/3 the price!!! This guitar is American made, and made to be played!!
i don't understand what all the negative comments about fender are about. This is just a perfect strat i play it upsidedown just for the hell of it anyway if you know how to play a guitar this baby will melt in your hands to never come of again I swear.
This was the second guitar I bought and I've held on to it and never plan on letting go. The sound quality and the finish are superb. I would recommend this guitar to anyone looking for an American-made strat.
This is an amazing guitar, I played one in a Guitar Center when i was down in boston trough a Vox modeling amp and loved it, it sounded amazing and played really well, it also kept a good tune i only had to tune the b string when i picked it up, but my favorite was the finish, it looked nice, it is the nicest finish I have ever seen on a guitar, it played nice clean or with distortion/ other effects as well
I bought my Highway 1 just yesterday. And I love it!!! I played a couple of other Strats and even a Les Paul. But this guitar was simply the best. And the price on it can't be beat. Every Lefty that wants a Strat should try this one. You'll love it. It sounds great, it's not too heavy and it kinda curves into your boby shape and it looks great, too.
It's great thin neck gives an excellent filing while playing it, an exceptional guitar and quality for its price.I am in the process of getting my own because I've used it and can't get my mind away from it.
I love this guitar... it has everything you need, and sounds beautiful. You cabt get a strat better than thins..infact.. after i bought this i bought a American Series strat..i to tell you the truth the american series sux compared to this! I just cant believe the sound and feel!
