This guitar is very comfortable to play. The small body and the Strat neck make it possible to play for hours. The sound unplugged is not very loud, but it has a pleasant balanced tone. Plugged into my Carvin AG100D it sounds great. The EQ on the preamp lets you really shape the tone. Th onboard tuner is extremely useful and easy to use. I was most surprised by the quality of the woods and the finish. The mahogny sides and back are beautiful! This is an excellent guitar for those used to electric guitars and players who like a comfortable fit.
Right out of the box this guitar was tuned, I played it for a few minutes Acoustically and was just wowed at its beautiful tone. After a few minutes, I plugged it into my Fender Princton Chorus and it just got better and better. I also have some Taylors and Ovations. I put them on the same shelf with this one. High marks all across the way. Buy this guitar you will not be disappointed.
I set out to look for a small, bright, twangy acoustic guitar, and this was it. I love this guitar, and I just can't play it enough. Anyone looking for a bright twangy acoustic should seriously consider this guitar. The upper fret access is also great.
I bought this guitar after playing over 50 different makes and models...the sound coming from this guitar is incredible. The neck takes some getting used to...more like an electric neck. The action was a bit high for my taste, but with some adjustments was made perfect. Nice finish, size and weight. Very comfortable to play. I changed the strings to my preferred brand and it sang like an angel. Buy it...you will not be dissapointed!
Although I dont own one, it seems to be one of the nicest acoustic-electric guitars I've played on for it's price. The electronics on it are top-quality and the small neck and body make the guitar easy to play on. I am just a kid, but have been playing for 3 1/2 years and I think I might lose it if I dont get one A.S.A.P.!!
Simply put, it's the most musical guitar I've ever played. I didn't plug it in, so I can't really help anyone out with that. Just dinking around with it in the store was one of the best sounding things I'd ever played. The highs are bellike. The mids are very warm and smooth. If you're trying to get a Jack Johnson sound in a compact package, and probably a large margin cheaper than what he plays, this seems like a good candidate. The neck feels great to me, very smooth and proabably the thickness of a 50's strat. The small body still projects very well, and the big plus for me is the size. It feels really nice tucked in, very low possibility for fatigue. All of the construction looked top notch, I'd seriously suggest giving this one a try.
Just wanted to say I love this guitar...had I purchased this one the first time I tried to learn to play...I am sure I would be well on my way...It is easy to play for a beginner...Quality is the best bargain ever!
