OVERVIEW

Modern features with '60s design elements.

U.S.-designed Paramount Series acoustic instruments are finely crafted and specially voiced to bring your artistic vision to life. Each all-solid guitar offers many legacy design elements of classic ’60s models, including special checkerboard binding and rosettes, unique pickguard shape, and abalone and mother-of-pearl "Concert Tone" fretboard inlays.

And even with this art deco look, Paramount instruments still retain their footing in modern design. All-new Fender- and Fishman-designed PM preamp systems are equipped with specially voiced for each body shape in the series, ensuring complete tonal control and variation.

Includes hardshell case.

Available in an elegant natural finish, the Paramount Deluxe Dreadnought features not only thoughtful vintage appointments, but also the craftsmanship of a truly high-performing instrument. Crafted from premium all-solid tone woods such as upgraded East Indian rosewood back and sides and Sitka spruce top and equipped with quartersawn scalloped "X" bracing, the Deluxe dreadnought is designed with freely vibrating, resonant tone in mind. It also features a fast-playing "C"-shaped mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, both of which are designed to accommodate the most demanding playing styles.

Comments about Fender Paramount Series PM-1 Deluxe Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I ordered this instrument because ii had already purchased the pm1 standard and the pm1 deluxe natural both of which totally blew me away! I was worried that my new arrival would not be as good but I was blown away again! This instrument exceeded all of my expectations. I was hoping it would be as good as the pm1 natural but it sounded even better. Evidently East Indian rosewood has individual characteristics that give each instrument it's own personality. Go fender!

Comments about Fender Paramount Series PM-1 Deluxe Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I tried many other guitars under 1,200 including the Epiphone Master built and noting except for the 1200 Taylor 214 ce or a 250 wanted all solid top, back and sides without breaking the bank, so this was my deciding factor when I had purchased my Paramount deluxe over the other two guitars that I just mentioned ( Taylor / Yamaha. Sound wise along with price you can't touch the Yamaha guitars in regards of boom for your buck. Sound, looks, quality, feel, all solid wood, price buy a paramount. Mine was 559 open box from Musicians Friend with only two tiny little scratches on the top side that you really have to look to see. I have bought several, yes I said several open box from MF and they all came to me in near perfect condition or exactly like new and for usually 150 to 450 cheaper than new in all of my purchases.

Comments about Fender Paramount Series PM-1 Deluxe Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

no complaint, and i looked for one... my first plus was the feel of the neck when i first took it out of the case. i believe it's the c, but the weight almost feels to be more than the guitars body. the grain looks almost like a flamed mahogany, the inlay is precise and crisp, and to my liking, the headstock has a balanced and winning look. i like it. as for the top, it also has a lite flamed appearance. just enough to catch my eye and 'shimmer' a little in the light. i liked that also. inside the sound hole is also precise, crisp and clean. i tuned and strummed it for the first time. martin, no. taylor, gibson? no. each string is balanced with the others. there's no muffed or empty b string. it's there holding it's own within it's sustain. it's a fender, and i'll keep mine. the 'stylized' electronics and case? absolutely. in my experience with musicians friend, i don't have any complaints. i like things new, and they are.
