A compact guitar with solid wood construction and style accents from the ’60s.
Standard Parlor U.S.-designed Paramount Series acoustic instruments are finely crafted and specially voiced to bring your artistic vision to life. Each all-solid guitar offers many legacy design elements of classic ’60s models, including special checkerboard binding and rosettes, unique pickguard shape, and abalone and mother-of-pearl "Concert Tone" fretboard inlays. And even with this art deco look, Paramount instruments still retain their footing in modern design. All-new Fender- and Fishman-designed PM preamp systems are equipped with specially voiced for each body shape in the series, ensuring complete tonal control and variation.
Available in an elegant natural finish, the Paramount Standard Parlor features not only thoughtful vintage appointments, but also the craftsmanship of a truly high-performing instrument. Crafted from premium all-solid tone woods such as mahogany back and sides and Sitka spruce top and equipped with quartersawn scalloped "X" bracing, the Standard parlor is designed with freely vibrating, resonant tone in mind. It also features a fast-playing "C"-shaped mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, both of which are designed to accommodate the most demanding playing styles.

Comments about Fender Paramount Series PM-2 Standard Parlor Acoustic-Electric Guitar:
Fender hit a home run with these beautiful looking guitars. I gig out alot with a country, rock & oldies band. I favor smaller size acoustic/electric guitars and this is a gem . Our lead guitarist got one first (the deluxe model). Tried his & I was so impressed, I bought one. The standard has spruce top with mahogany back & sides & the deluxe has spruce top with rosewood back & sides. Depends on the sound you like....both are very nice. Sound , playability, quality is there. It's "gig ready" . Has on board electronics and the tuner is spot on. Comes with a "Martin Like" hardshell case. It's also a great travel size guitar. Will be almost a year owning it and enjoy it very much.
