OVERVIEW

All-solid Sitka and mahogany tonewood blend paired with sweet appointments and a special preamp for higher-quality live performances.

Available in an elegant natural finish, the Paramount Series PM-3 Cutaway Triple-0 Acoustic-Electric Guitar features not only thoughtful vintage appointments, but also the craftsmanship of a truly high-performing instrument. Crafted from premium all-solid tonewoods such as mahogany back and sides and Sitka spruce top and equipped with quartersawn scalloped "X" bracing, the Standard triple 0 cutaway model is designed with freely vibrating, resonant tone in mind.

It also features a fast-playing "C"-shaped mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, both of which are designed to accommodate the most demanding playing styles.

Includes hardshell case.

Paramount Series
The U.S.-designed Paramount Series acoustic instruments are finely crafted and specially voiced to bring your artistic vision to life. Each all-solid guitar offers many legacy design elements of classic ’60s models, including special checkerboard binding and rosettes, unique pickguard shape, and abalone and mother-of-pearl "Concert Tone" fretboard inlays. Even with this Art Deco look, Paramount instruments still retain their footing in modern design. All-new Fender- and Fishman-designed PM preamp systems are equipped with specially voiced for each body shape in the series, ensuring complete tonal control and variation.

Comments about Fender Paramount Series PM-3 Cutaway Triple-0 Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

This guitar is built very well. The bound finger board looks and feels great. The frets are smooth and balances well. The setup and intonation were perfect out of the box! The sound of the mahagony is very sweet. It is not super punchy or loud when played acoustically. When you piug it in it sounds fantastic. The tuner works great and the pick up controls are set up for easy adjustments. I like volume knob being a little larger to find it easily. Also the tuner when on, mutes the instrument so it can be tuned without interupting others in the band. Like the placement of the strap buttons as well. This guitar is excellent value. I would purchase it again if something happened to it.

Comments about Fender Paramount Series PM-3 Cutaway Triple-0 Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Really excellent quality - I decided to try this on a whim. I usually gig with a dreadnaught but wanted to try something with a smaller body. I prefer acoustics without cutaways, but the price was right. Anyway, this thing sounds GREAT! Flat out great - no qualifiers. I know most people will shy away from spending serious money on a Fender acoustic, but they got this one right. Pickup sounds good (I'm not crazy about ANY piezo pickup - no matter how cheap or expensive the guitar), fit & finish is impeccable. The neck profile is decently chunky. I hate how so many acoustic manufacturers are now going to thin necks (front to back). I've never liked that. This is very comfortable, and fills my hand nicely. This guitar resonates beautifully and doesn't compress much. You can get good volume out of it without digging in too hard. The tone is warm and balanced across all strings. You won't get the deep bass of a dread, but it's not thin sounding, or lacking in any way to my ear.

My only complaint: the built in tuner is OK. I like my D'Addario soundhole tuner better. Other than that, this is a fantastic acoustic guitar.
