My girlfriend and I both got guitars around christmas 2010, and we were going to learn to play together. I bought this pack and she got an Epiphone hummingbird. Hers not only cost 3.5 times more than this pack, but i prefer this Squier. I was surprised when i played both, and I didn't like how the epiphone played. I have never had a single problem with the guitar either. It looks and plays great. The only thing i would upgrade in this pack is the gig bag, its very cheaply made, so i suggest buying a different one, but with the great low price of this pack, you can afford to. The tuner is good, as is the strap, never used the book either. I was self taught through internet, especially youtube videos. Great guitar for the price especially! Buy this if you're a beginner, can't go wrong.

This guitar is an excellent product with an excellent price. It required nothing more than tuning. Because I had read the reviews I also purchased a better quality gig bag. The gig bag in this package could possibly be used as a laundry bag :>) Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase.
I bought this guitar--SA-100 Acoustic Guitar Pack--for my young adult daughter for Christmas. First, the company was great to honor their lower price guarantee. Second, I thought I waited too late before Christmas and would need to pay for express shipping, but they told me it was unnecessary; true to their word, the guitar arrived in just a few days even with free shipping. Third, I wasn't expecting much from the guitar (except I read really positive reviews from skilled guitarists saying even with much more expensive guitars, this is still one of their favorites) but it is MUCH better than I ever expected! Fourth, the guitar is truly nice looking! Fifth, my daughter, a novice, was able to use the tuner to tune the guitar and has started making some progress in learning. She says holding and playing the guitar is really comfortable. We both are VERY pleased with this purchase!
Overall great guitar. Only thing i didnt care for is on the black addition you can see finger prints left on the guitar other then that it sounds great right out of the box (of course after you tune it).

It was delivered on time and was in great condition. Just looking at it out of the box, my first impression was it looked more expensive than it was. After tuning it up, it sounded OK, but a change of strings made it sound expensive. No buzz and very little discord across the neck. Overall impression was good value for the money. I purchased it for my granddaughter.
Good, playable guitar for the money. Easy cording. Easy picking. Good resonance and volume. Clear tonal qualities and even levels. No buzzing, even at upper full E barr cord.
I bought the guitar as a Christmas gift for my son. He was not expecting it and it was a total surprise. He loves it and has been playing it until his wrists hurt. I am so glad I found this site and purchased the guitar.

I am a beginner, never played guitar and interested in learning so didn't want to spend a lot of money for a new one. Guitar Stand is a must, that go along with this guitar. The tuner came with it is okay quality, it's very tiny but okay.
Good quality material, sounds great and perfect size for adult or teenagers.
It's a great guitar for beginners, less expense but not cheap.
Well worth the money. Will be an excellant Christmas gift. I was disappointed in the bag. There was no padding. The opening wasn't big enough. Just clumsy to try to put the guitar in. The guitar is great.

Over all this a very well built guitar and has an excellant quality sound, I would recommend this guitar for anyone that wants to learn to play.
