I was looking for a "cheap" acoustic, tried many brands in this price range and this guitar just spoke to me.I noticed some companys advertise solid spruce top but you could see the seam. This one IS and you can hear the difference. it sounds awesome and I know it will just get better with age. The tone is full and rich. all registers are clear and full. you cant go wrong with this guitar in this price range. Dont be fooled by the white plastic tuning heads they are tight and the guitar stays in tune extremely well.I saw an old Kinks performance on a VH1 "countdown" the day after I bought it with Ray Davies playing one like it haha how cool. BUY IT

Not sure why they state this was introduced in 2008, I got mine 8/2006 as a birthday present to myself. Finish is beautiful and the tone is great. Believe it when they say that the solid spruce top will sound better with age. Of course, as with most guitars the first thing you will want to do is change the strings (Martins sound great to my ears). It came with the action set up fairly well as was the intonation. Overall, if anything happened to mine, I'd replace it in a heartbeat.

I ordered this guitar on Valentine's Day. I pulled it out of the box, tuned it, and played it. Amazing. Some of the best tone I've ever heard from a guitar. The action is a little off, but that's nothing, I'd venture to say it sounds better. Produces a robust sound and projects beautifully. The white binding is amazing, as is the finish.If you're trying to decide on a new acoustic, you've found it.
