WOW!

well for starters, its hard for a left handed guy to get an awesome guitar, thats under budget, and that actually sounds half decient. but this had all of the above and nothing i expected for the price. mmmk, as soon as i got it, i plugged it in and everything that i was used to, the humming, the tiny unsuttle noises that i had before were gone. and to think that i had second thoughts on how am i gonna get any tone outta two tiny little pickups...WRONG! now, it doesent have as many tonal options as, say a les paul, but if youre into blues, or rock or even some harder stuff, this does the trick very nicely. im very pleased with the guitar and would recomend it to any lefty onna budget, on and ps, i had to wait four and a half months to get it, but i ordered it over the summer when, im informed, fender doesnt make as much guitars over that time than they do on the other times, but i dont care i got it! and it was DEFINATELY WORTH THE WAIT!

Had it for about a year now. It's one of the Alder body ones. I think it sounds fantastic and has lots of personality. I owned 3 guitars but this is my favorite.

Looks great, plays great

By Olson

from Little York, IL

This guitar was absolutely perfect right out of the box. Action, fit and finish is as good or better than any guitar I've ever owned (Fender Strats, Ibanez). It refuses to go out of tune, bend the strings as hard as you want and chords will still sound great. If you buy it you won't be disappointed.

100% Tele

By Picky Picker-fBO0Z

from Arkansas

After having owned several guitars, including a Les Paul custom, and a Standard Strat, I was a little leery about buying the Mexican-made Tele. But i've gotta tell ya, right out of the box, it was set up to play. Low, lite action and that great Tele sound and quality... great finish... Smooth, thin neck. This is one of the greatest guitars that you'll find FOR ANY PRICE.

Had Tele for about a year now. Easy to play, great sound, great value. Bridge pickup a little "plinky", but on the whole, amazing.

Not your average guitar

The telecaster is a brilliant peice of work...especially this one in particular. I've played some top of the line strats, but the telecaster is always more friendly. The fretboard is not so wide as the strat, and the neck pickup is incredibly unique. I gave the features a 6 because, comparedto my other guitar, an SG, it doesn't have the options..but it has a much nicer tone. Go for it.

This Sucker Rocks

By Rock Star-Tb.Dz

I bought this guitar a sa goof actually, figuring that MEXICO-made meant "SENOR CRAPPOLA". Quite the opposite. As soon as I felt the neck, I shot a load all over myself {it was nasty}.

My # 1 GUITAR

I bought it about 10 months ago used. My friend has a highway one telecaster, and he says it sounds as great as his. Great value if you are in the market for a well rounded guitar.

This is a telecaster, you get the beutiful twang and great blues tunes/old led zeppelin. Think The White stripes minus a bit dist does those sounds great.Metal harder rock is almost not playable but if you're getting a telecaster you're probably not thinking about that. Well Harder rock is fine and would be even better with other pickups.I'm mesmerized by the quality and construction out of the box, altough I changed the strings to elixir 10's - personal reference. Also i will be highering the action much more but that's just what feels right to my hands. The finish Looks sweet - got the Blue agave kinda looks weird online but in persons it's sweet

Lefties with however much money this costs should buy it . It delivers some pleasing sounds while looking cool. If this review doesn't make you just want to rush out and buy one of these, than I'm a trout.

Looks Hot And Plays Like A Dream

By Storm-tJNOm

Bought lefty Telecaster in sunburst for Christmas present to myself. Smooth neck makes for easy playing. If you are a lefty and don't own one of these, you are missing out. This is a beautiful guitar!!

Nice product

I purchased this about three months ago. It was in tune right out of the box. I play it through a Fender Ultimate Chorus so I can shape my sound pretty much to fit the style I'm playing. It is actually louder than the Standard Strat I play. Quite a surprise! I bought the Midnight Wine and the finish is deep and glossy. The neck is different than a Strat. It's somewhat easier to grip and move around on. I would recommend this guitar to anyone.

Finding a descent lefty guitar is difficult, but this was a FIND! I was skeptical with the lipstick/single coil pickups and their power, but the tone made up for it. The twang is a nice sound for church services. It doesn't have a lot of features, but it is a great VALUE !!!!!!!!!

Great transition instrument

I've been playing acoustic for a while now. I was pleased when I played this guitar in the store; such a simple guitar, nothing to inhibit your playing with, not unlike an acoustic. It's so transparent, enabling the player to focus completely on his/her technique and/or playing style. Of course, it's considerably more comfortable since it's an electric. I've gotta get one of these.

Great Guitar

By RC from Toledo

I just received my Telecaster today (03/16/06). Right out of the box, all I had to do was tune it and plug it in. I looked her over pretty good and could not find a single flaw. This is a great little guitar for the bucks. The only surprise was that it weighted a bit more than I thought it, which is most likely why it has such great sustain. Buy it... you won't be disappointed.

A guitar worth it???

By Teleman-drgpG

I bought this guitar on Memorial Day and I love the thing. I can play anything I want with no problem ACDC to Reel Big Fish, everything. The only thing is when you get this guitar you will need to replace the rear pickup with a Humbucker or you will get more buzz then a strat while playing. I went with a Dimarzio best thing I did for that guitar. When I play now it sounds like an American Tele. Get this done by a Professional or you?ll get frustrated as heck. The Telecaster is the right choice.
