So if you see my review below it was quite good but after 3 months this thing is horrid.... the 1 string E at frets 12-14 is dead, I mean it just clanks in a tinny way... I tried everything to get it better by changing the strings to heavier gauge.. raising the action etc..

also my thing just clanks and rattles on any power chord... of all my guitars this is the worst and is almost unplayable

I rang Fender about it and as it doesnt seem to them to be a warranty issue I can pay to have it fixed but as one can get a new one of these for low twos now why pay a hundred or more to fix this

Will stick to my Strats and PRS in future

This was my first guitar and i love it. I settled on this guitar because it was in my price range and because i have played it in a store before with a friend. This guitar looks amazing sounds amazing and i love it. I play at my church and other functions. My friends guitars don't sound as good as mine or look as good as mine. I have heard seen and played more expensive guitars but this one sounds just as good maybe even better. The coolest feature of this guitar is that it has a built in tuner and pickup so you can plug it into a amp if you wanted plus with the built in tuner you wont ever be out of tune nor will you haft to worry about losing tuners. I LOVE THIS GUITAR!!!!!!

Changed the strings which were poor to D'Addario EXL's and this a perfect little beast for jamming in my apartment (my Strat amped up was getting me into major trouble with the neighbours)........... The tuner and electrics are fine... just ear tune after you get close with the built in tuner.. easy peasy..

The finish on this guitar (blue) IS great.. really nice...

Some have commented this can sound a little "tinny" which I have found in the middle range but the action of this thing is so low and easy .... hard to believe it is an acoustic...

I wrote a review earlier on a first generation T-bucket. I saw the blue finish on a great sale on line, and ordered it.

This guitar is fantastic! Action right out of the box was perfect. Factory strings are terrific. Bass is full and loud, trebles are beautiful. The blue finish is pretty (sunburst is nicer). The sound on my new T-Bucket is much, much deeper and resonates more than on my older T-Bucket.

Built in tuner on the new T-Bucket is way better than the first model. Fishman electronics are fantastic.

These new T-buckets are GREAT guitars for the price!

I have been performing on stages across Kentucky for over a year now and have played many guitars, but the Fender T-Bucket 300CE is my favorite. It has amazing tone, and playability is excellent. Great guitar for anyone!!

As I mentioned in my "Cons" section, these guitars came with 2 different Pre-Amp options. The Fender named Pre-Amp setup doesn't produce any bass, it's mostly treble. Where as, the Fishman Pre-Amp models sound 1000x better. Fishman is the leading company in instrument amplification and they deserve it! So, if you find a 300CE with Fishman electronics, buy it!

I have added Grover Tuners, Brass Bridge Pins, Feedback Buster, and I run D'Addario EXP Medium strings. This guitar looks, and sounds amazing!

Also, people complain about the laminate top scratching easily... But I love it. It gives the guitar character that YOU want it to have. It gives me pride that I wore that guitar down, not the factory. MAKE IT YOUR OWN! GREAT GUITAR TO DO THIS WITH!

This guitar is gorgeous, no doubt about it. Looks-wise, it's a 5 Star.

On sound, the sound is good but not very full. It sounds like the chords WANT to explode but are restricted. I think it's the laminate top. It's loud but the bass is weak. On the other side, the treble is nice and clear, rings out great.

It's a light guitar. The fretboard, frets, and inlays are very good and very nice looking. No buzzing, fretboard seems a tad narrow but I did not check the specs to confirm the measurement.

Action out of the box was high, and the stock strings are razor blades. I'm going to change out to Phosphorus bronze strings to see if that adds some depth to the tone of the guitar.

It's a fun guitar to play. Has a built in tuner and strap buttons, EQ sounds very good. Consistent with some of the other reviews, it sounds great plugged in.

I love the looks, I love that it's a Fender, but it's not a 5 Star guitar even at this price-don't get me wrong-it's very, very cool, but there are better guitars out there for the same price.

I mostly now prefer straight acoustic sound so I use a Mitchell MD300 acoustic. However, when extra volume is needed for large audiences, I use my Fender Amber T-Bucket. It sounds great even at high volume, meaning: It serves me very well. All mine needed was a few very minor adjustments & I'd stack it up with a very expensive guitar anytime.

I recieved my T-Bucket 1 day ago and so far Iam very pleased with it ! It has great tone and playability I am a very picky person when it comes to how a guitar plays si I was leery of how it would feel in my left hand ,as it was shattered and reconstucted 20 years ago, and I must say Fender has done a wonderful job on this guitar for the price! the tuner works great ! I would recomend this guitar to anyonethat loves comfort when they play!

I am going to be nice here. This is a guitar that you can take from good to really, really good. This is a perfect campfire guitar/beater. It fits the bill for an open mic and you can do rough recordings with this. I replaced this one after losing the first guitar. It also sounds nice if you are playing to impresss a gal (wink, wink!)

PS - One last thing to mention, this is too small to busk with which is why I ended up getting the Epiphones. This is a home/campfire guitar. This does not project too well to play on a busy street.
I have the T Bucket 300 without the cutaway so it is smaller and does not have the electronics on it. I picked mine up at a local store in PHX and I did have to return it to get some attention. The retailer ended up upgrading both the nut and saddle to bone and I have the Hot Rod Jellyfish bridge pins on mine. Mine is the orange finish and being a Vince Ray fan I did go to Poster Pop (they have all sorts of cool Vince Ray stuff!) and got the "True Nekromance" sticker for the body. Otherwise the quality is the same as the electric model, laminate top, rosewood fingerboard and bridge.
Like most guitars in this price range these guitars can be a good jumping off point but may require upgrades (see above). The nice thing about the laminate guitars is that they are not as sensitive to weather and temperature changes as solid wood guitars. I play hollow body electrics so the laminate did not throw me off. I did own a GDO (early 2000s yellow model) that was the same size as the T Bucket before so I knew they are decent guitars.

You do want to play the guitar because some of these need love right out of the box while others are good to go. Again, these can be made better by upgrading parts.
Great value, these guitars tend to mellow with age. They look great and with a little work you can get them to sound really, really good. Compare this guitar against cheap guitars such as Dean and you should feel really good. Compared to an Epiphone, that would be a personal choice. I have two Epi's that sound different (AJ 200 upgraded and a EJ 200 upgraded as well and I would put both up against Gibsons) and they have their pros and cons and all three guitar actually complement each other really well while sounding and playing differently.

Originally bought this guitar for church because I needed a guitar with a good pick up this was definitely the right choice it sounds great looks great and the electronics are pretty cool however I have found that the tuner does not work very well so you would need to look to othe methods of tuning. Other than that there are no problems
Love the volume, bass, and treble knobs however the on board tuner does not work very well
No problems with it at all
Worth every penny
