OVERVIEW

Buckle up, this T-bucket is supercharged with a flamed maple body and Fender electronics.

Created by hot rod artist Vince Ray as a tribute to the great street rods, Fender has now given his design a stunning figured-wood treatment in creating the Fender T-Bucket 400 CE Flamed Maple Acoustic-Electric Guitar. Built on Fender's dreadnought profile, the body depth and shoulder width produce a sound optimized for maximum tone and projection. A body cutaway offers comfort and accessibility to the high-register frets. The strong flamed maple neck helps add definition to every note. With a rosewood bridge and fingerboard, the T-Bucket 400 CE Flamed Maple Acoustic-Electric Guitar creates a lot of sustain. Compensated saddles at the bridge and quality die-cast tuning machines keep tuning locked in. The gloss polyurethane finish is the ideal treatment for giving the figuring of the flame maple grain maximum exposure. At the heart of the Fender T-Bucket 400 CE acoustic electric guitar lies the Fender FTE-3TN preamp with tuner. This integrated system lets you dial in your amplified sound quickly and easily. The built-in tuner ensures your Fender guitar stays in tune from song to song, without having to fumble with any accessories. Just tune up, plug in, and rock the house.Other unique features on the Fender T-Bucket acoustic-electric guitar include: Inlaid "F" and pinstriping motif by Vince Ray at 12th fret, inlaid pinstriping motif on the headstock and rosette, dual action truss rod, scalloped X-bracing, side dot position inlays, factory-mounted forward strap button with internal block reinforcement, ivory body and neck binding, urea nut and saddle, white with black dot bridge pins, and chrome end pins.

T Bucket 400

Comments about Fender T-Bucket 400 CE Flamed Maple Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I own many guitars and never gave Fender acoustics much thought until I decided to try this inexpencive model. I was pleasently pleased when it arrived. It's looks nice and plays very well. A good value "bang for the buck" guitar.

Wow

Comments about Fender T-Bucket 400 CE Flamed Maple Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I've been playing guitar for 14 years, I've owned and played alot of different guitars. I was in the market for a new acoustic and I was checking out the mid level martins and breedloves, and then I saw the Fender t-bucket 400. I fell in love. I couldnt justify spending $500 more on one of those guitars because this plays just as nice if not better. The tone is wonderful, bright and crisp, but balanced and smooth. The natural flamed maple is gorgeous. The action is perfect right out of the box and it honestly plays like a dream. Don't be fooled by the price. Most people would think a guitar costing $350 is an entry level guitar. This is not. This guitar is great for any level musician. The other guitarist in my band has a $2000 larrivee and honestly I like this better. Fender hit a home run with this guitar.

Comments about Fender T-Bucket 400 CE Flamed Maple Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

A friend of mine recently showed me this guitar, and I was blown away at first sight. I had been considering getting a koa Taylor, but immediately changed my mind when I saw this. After playing this, I was sold. It sounds beautiful, there's never any buzz when you plug it in, and it looks breathtaking. I plan on getting one within a month.

Great guitar for the money

Comments about Fender T-Bucket 400 CE Flamed Maple Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Just bought a Fender T-bucket 400 CE. The sound of this guitar is amazing. I've always thought you needed a solid top guitar to get this kind of tone. I've played many Taylors, and other high end quality guitars, and this guitar is just a great instrument for the money. I really wasn't even looking at Fenders, until a friend of mine, who is a very talented guitarist, and owns perhaps 20+ guitars, gave me a heads up on this model. Go play one, I think you'll be impressed.

Comments about Fender T-Bucket 400 CE Flamed Maple Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

This guitar is simply amazing. I am very impressed with it both acoustically and electrically. The grain is beautiful and it has a powerful natural presence. I am not a Fender person at all, but I have been consistently impressed with their acoustics.I took this guitar to my father's house the other day to jam with him and he is a Martin die-hard (he plays a 70's Martin). My dad liked the sound of this so much that we ended up trading guitars half way through the night so that he could play around with it.This is easily one of the best instrument purchases I have ever made.

Comments about Fender T-Bucket 400 CE Flamed Maple Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

One of my favorite purchases to date. Decided to finally get an acoustic electric for my softer side. Came in a matter of days, as usual, and immaculate out of the box. The action felt so right, so great right out of the box. Intonation was spot on, as well. Not at all what you'd expect from a guitar in this price range. My friend has an acoustic with a similar price tag, and it is significantly more difficult to play; the action and feel are very much not to my taste. I would honestly recommend this guitar to players across the board. The price makes it perfect for beginner and pro alike, and everyone in between. I am not an acoustic guitar connoisseur, so I cannot tell you how its tone stacks up compares to the higher end guitars of our age, but it has a clarity and voice I would expect to hear from a guitar costing many hundreds more. It certainly sounds better than my friends' acoustics, including a very fine Ovation Celebrity. The pre-amp left a little to be desired when running through a clean channel on a half stack, sounding a bit tinny, but it's to be expected, it not being plugged into a PA or an acoustic amp. However, it's great because the 3-Band EQ makes a noticeable, and interesting, difference when you tweak it in the guitars sound through an amp. I can only imagine the guitar will get better as it ages and when it is played through an appropriate amplification source. All other features are pretty much flawless; it holds tune well (perhaps it's just mine, but I like how the g-string tuning gear is so that it takes more rotations to alter it, the g being a notoriously tricky string to tune. Perhaps a finer gear ratio, perhaps a dud, but find it very useful). On an ending note, I would suggest that one use a separate tuner rather than the one on-board the pre-amp, as it isn't terribly accurate (it doesn't a hold a candle to the boss TU-3). It will still do the job in a bind onstage, just don't expect cent-like accuracy.
In conclusion, a fine creation by Fender. It plays with a feel of its own, very satisfying, and with Martin FX's it is very easy on them fingers, so beginning players without the calluses that come with steady playing will feel right at home with those on. Again, suitable for all skill levels, with looks to kill, whether on stage or in practice. Hope my two cents assists with any buying decision. If you happen to purchase this guitar, you will hold no regrets, unless you're an elitist snob who won't touch anything under a thousand. Happy Holidays!

Comments about Fender T-Bucket 400 CE Flamed Maple Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Instead of buying a 6 string Taylor I brought her home and I love her. Her tone is warm her neck is soft and super easy on my fingers plus she looks hot. Now I'm going save up just a lil more to buy the 12 string KOA Taylor. One can never have too many guitars!

Comments about Fender T-Bucket 400 CE Flamed Maple Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I've been playing guitar for nearly a decade now, and thus far haven't really had the greatest guitars to play on (or best quality guitars). This is by far the nicest guitar I've owned and I have played it every chance I could since I've taken it out of the box. When I'd seen it online, I thought to myself "This one looks different" and "It definitely stands out." Though I thought it was going to be nice looking, I was shocked at how beautiful it looked. Literally made me want to cry when I took it out of the box, just because it is the most beautiful guitar I've ever owned. The only thing I've had to adjust on the guitar was the action, due to some slight buzzing on the E, A and D strings, but loosening the truss rod a little bit took care of that problem easily. All around, it's an excellent guitar and the cost wasn't outrageous. I'm definitely pleased with it and hope to get many years of playing out of it.
