OVERVIEW

Buckle up, this T-bucket is supercharged with a flamed maple body and Fender electronics.

Created by hot rod artist Vince Ray as a tribute to the great street rods, Fender has now given his design a stunning figured-wood treatment in creating the Fender T-Bucket 400 CE Flamed Maple Acoustic-Electric Guitar. Built on Fender's dreadnought profile, the body depth and shoulder width produce a sound optimized for maximum tone and projection. A body cutaway offers comfort and accessibility to the high-register frets. The strong flamed maple neck helps add definition to every note. With a rosewood bridge and fingerboard, the T-Bucket 400 CE Flamed Maple Acoustic-Electric Guitar creates a lot of sustain. Compensated saddles at the bridge and quality die-cast tuning machines keep tuning locked in. The gloss polyurethane finish is the ideal treatment for giving the figuring of the flame maple grain maximum exposure. At the heart of the Fender T-Bucket 400 CE acoustic electric guitar lies the Fender FTE-3TN preamp with tuner. This integrated system lets you dial in your amplified sound quickly and easily. The built-in tuner ensures your Fender guitar stays in tune from song to song, without having to fumble with any accessories. Just tune up, plug in, and rock the house.Other unique features on the Fender T-Bucket acoustic-electric guitar include: Inlaid "F" and pinstriping motif by Vince Ray at 12th fret, inlaid pinstriping motif on the headstock and rosette, dual action truss rod, scalloped X-bracing, side dot position inlays, factory-mounted forward strap button with internal block reinforcement, ivory body and neck binding, urea nut and saddle, white with black dot bridge pins, and chrome end pins.

Sounds as good as it looks!

Comments about Fender T-Bucket 400 CE Flamed Maple Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I love this guitar,I wanted a bold and brite sound from a accoustic\electric,and this t bucket 400 delivers. This is not a warm, mellow sounding guitar, but it has tons of bass and projects very well, its strong. My only complaint< the action was way to high and the neck was to tight,i had to sand down the bridge and ajust the neck, bummer. But i love this guitar,Its beautiful and sounds really great.

Comments about Fender T-Bucket 400 CE Flamed Maple Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I've owned several good acoustics in my time(60 years old now I started playing at 8 years old)a
Martin,Gibson, now an Ovation a Gibson and this new Fender. The T Bucket 400 CE is at the very least, equal to any of these, and better than most,at a 4th of the Price.
    Good Deal, Thanks Musician's Friend

Comments about Fender T-Bucket 400 CE Flamed Maple Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I've been playing guitar for nearly a decade now, and thus far haven't really had the greatest guitars to play on (or best quality guitars). This is by far the nicest guitar I've owned and I have played it every chance I could since I've taken it out of the box. When I'd seen it online, I thought to myself "This one looks different" and "It definitely stands out." Though I thought it was going to be nice looking, I was shocked at how beautiful it looked. Literally made me want to cry when I took it out of the box, just because it is the most beautiful guitar I've ever owned. The only thing I've had to adjust on the guitar was the action, due to some slight buzzing on the E, A and D strings, but loosening the truss rod a little bit took care of that problem easily. All around, it's an excellent guitar and the cost wasn't outrageous. I'm definitely pleased with it and hope to get many years of playing out of it.

We received the guitar in a timely manner and were very happy with the product, however we did not receive the stand that was supposed to come with it. My son was bummed that he didn't have the stand to put the guitar on.

          Love this guitar

Comments about Fender T-Bucket 400 CE Flamed Maple Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I've had this guitar for six months. I like it more now than the day it arrived.
When you a have a dozen guitars around family and friends always want you to play something. I
love bringing out this beauty. It's easy to play
songs that everyone knows and it will fill a Living Room with sound without being amplified.
It has a fantastic look and the sound is great.
It's easy to play anything from folk songs to the
          blues.
I bought this because of the positive reviews on
MF. Thanks to everyone for recommending this. I
          love this guitar!

Comments about Fender T-Bucket 400 CE Flamed Maple Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

One of my favorite purchases to date. Decided to finally get an acoustic electric for my softer side. Came in a matter of days, as usual, and immaculate out of the box. The action felt so right, so great right out of the box. Intonation was spot on, as well. Not at all what you'd expect from a guitar in this price range. My friend has an acoustic with a similar price tag, and it is significantly more difficult to play; the action and feel are very much not to my taste. I would honestly recommend this guitar to players across the board. The price makes it perfect for beginner and pro alike, and everyone in between. I am not an acoustic guitar connoisseur, so I cannot tell you how its tone stacks up compares to the higher end guitars of our age, but it has a clarity and voice I would expect to hear from a guitar costing many hundreds more. It certainly sounds better than my friends' acoustics, including a very fine Ovation Celebrity. The pre-amp left a little to be desired when running through a clean channel on a half stack, sounding a bit tinny, but it's to be expected, it not being plugged into a PA or an acoustic amp. However, it's great because the 3-Band EQ makes a noticeable, and interesting, difference when you tweak it in the guitars sound through an amp. I can only imagine the guitar will get better as it ages and when it is played through an appropriate amplification source. All other features are pretty much flawless; it holds tune well (perhaps it's just mine, but I like how the g-string tuning gear is so that it takes more rotations to alter it, the g being a notoriously tricky string to tune. Perhaps a finer gear ratio, perhaps a dud, but find it very useful). On an ending note, I would suggest that one use a separate tuner rather than the one on-board the pre-amp, as it isn't terribly accurate (it doesn't a hold a candle to the boss TU-3). It will still do the job in a bind onstage, just don't expect cent-like accuracy.
In conclusion, a fine creation by Fender. It plays with a feel of its own, very satisfying, and with Martin FX's it is very easy on them fingers, so beginning players without the calluses that come with steady playing will feel right at home with those on. Again, suitable for all skill levels, with looks to kill, whether on stage or in practice. Hope my two cents assists with any buying decision. If you happen to purchase this guitar, you will hold no regrets, unless you're an elitist snob who won't touch anything under a thousand. Happy Holidays!

            Awesome guitar

Comments about Fender T-Bucket 400 CE Flamed Maple Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I've had this guitar for a year and absolutely love it. For the money it's hard to beat. You're not over paying for the name, which was something I was concerned about. I really like the maple wood on this guitar. Its more durable than others, but I love the unique sound it gives it. It doesn't have the flat "tin can"sound a lot of the plastic body ones do, but it's obviously not as warm as say a rose wood (which isn't a knock on it at all, just something to consider). I don't know much about electronics I just have a little 15 watt / 8 inch amp I play it on a lot, the electronics work fine with. Overall a great guitar.

I can only thank all the subscribers here on the review of the Fender T Bucket 400 CE, I have been scouring reviews for ages, trying to chose a reasonably priced electro/acoustic guitar, if everybody is telling the truth here, then I think my search is over. I am now retired and live in central Italy, and no shops for miles, so feel pretty confident at buying this online now.( played bass guitars, semi pro many years ago,60's 70's got a Gibson 1964 Les Paul if anybody interested, in mint condition.though, may auction as believe it to be quite valuable) So now lots of time to get into proper playing, like classical.Hopefully I will be able to fill in comments when I receive one. again thanks to all...I hope.

Comments about Fender T-Bucket 400 CE Flamed Maple Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Instead of buying a 6 string Taylor I brought her home and I love her. Her tone is warm her neck is soft and super easy on my fingers plus she looks hot. Now I'm going save up just a lil more to buy the 12 string KOA Taylor. One can never have too many guitars!
