Comments about Fender Telecaster Thinline Super Deluxe Electric Guitar:

To be honest, this guitar plays and feels awesome. It looks gorgeous too.

No issues with the vintage radius and frets, I can bend the strings easily with 10's.

Built in Japan, as many amazing instruments are and in my opinion, the craftmanship is perfect, no flaws whatsoever.

The body is basswood, and darn good sounding basswood too.

Yes the pickups are not TV Jones, but Fidelitrons sound amazing and have loads of character.

Yes it's expensive, however to my eyes and ears it was worth the money.

I was lucky enough to try the guitar out in a store before I purchased it, so I had no prior expectations.

It may not be for everyone as it strays from the classic "tele" however my advice is to listen to the demos or if you are lucky, try it out!

You might even make a new best Friend :)

Comments about Fender Telecaster Thinline Super Deluxe Electric Guitar:

I SEE THAT THIS GUITAR HAS A BAD REVIEW. I HAVE NEVER WRITTEN REVIEW BECAUSE I REALLY DON'T HAVE TIME BUT FOR THIS GUITAR I WOULD. I HAVE TO SAY THIS GUITAR PLAYS AND SOUND AMAZING. I WAS WORRIED BECAUSE THE PRICE WAS SO LOW COMPARED TO GUITARS I TYPICALLY LOOK AT BUT I HAVE TO SAY IF ALL GUITARS ARE MADE LIKE THIS IN JAPAN THEN I HAVE BEEN A SNOB. I BOUGHT 1 LAST WEEK AND FOUND OUT THAT THE RUN WAS LIMITED TO 100 IN EACH COLOR FOR THE US AND I BOUGHT A SECOND ONE TODAY. GOD FEARING THAT 1 COULD GET DAMAGED. AS FOR CASE CANDY - FORGET THAT. WHO CARES ABOUT CANDY. I WANT A GREAT GUITAR. THE HARDWARE IS GREAT. IT PLAYS GREAT - YOU WOULD BE A FOOL NOT TO LOVE THIS GUITAR.........GET ONE WHILE THEY LAST...MARK MY WORDS THESE WILL BE GONE IN THE NEXT MONTH....

Comments about Fender Telecaster Thinline Super Deluxe Electric Guitar:

Very disappointed in this Fender Telecaster. The guitar ships with no case or case candy, it features very cheap hardware, think Squire. The build quality is just not there for a guitar that cost this much from Japan no less. Cost for this quality should not be more way less. The pots a dime sized and the two way switch feels cheap.

I am an experienced player and own 25 guitars including 5 other Fenders (2 other Telecasters). Over the years I have owned over 100 guitars from vintage to china. The build quality of this telecaster is nothing compared to a Gretsch Pearl Jet I have with Filtertrons. The Gretsch (Japan) was only slightly more and came with a hard shell case, Bigsby and quality hardware.

I will be sending this one back!

Comments about Fender Telecaster Thinline Super Deluxe Electric Guitar:

First off i am a big fan of fender guitars. I owen nine telecasters most are high end instruments. When i seen this super deluxe thin line in white i had to have one. I must say i was a little disapointed in the hardware that fender used on this guitar. the control knobs are the cheapest ones that fender sells, the same with the bridge and the selector switch. They appear to me to be the same as what would be on a squire, all though i don`t own a squire to compare but they are cheap. It really saddens me that fender would do this to a Japanese made guitar. The rest of the guitar is excellent. It sounds and plays great. Just the hardware is second rate. If your not fussy about that sort of thing or replace the cheap stuff like i did then there aren`t any other issues with this instrument. Had i known that the cheap hardware was used on this guitar i would not have bought it. I thought it being made in Japan that the quality would be the best on all the guitar as japanese quality is second to none.
