Comments about Fender USA Nitro Satin Series Stratocaster Electric Guitar:

I had problems with the first one i recieved and had to return it. When i went to adjust the bridge screw for the 5th string it just stripped out on me . then the 6th string did the same thing. looked like the screw was ok but the hole was machined too big or something. any way i went to adjust the truss rod and set the string height but never could get it correct with the specs in the manual. just a lot of fret buzz.very dissapointed. also noticed the body made from 3 pieces of wood. not impressed for a usa made guitar.expected more for the price. the strings were the worst i've ever played. lucky for me the people at musician's friend sent out another one which i found to be much better. got the guitar neck, string height, and intonation set up very quickly, and this has very little fret buzz, plays great, great action, great sound although there is some hum in the electronics. also noticed that this one is made from only 2 pieces of wood. so far this guitar has been great. It plays easily and the clean sound is awesome! thanks musicians friend

Comments about Fender USA Nitro Satin Series Stratocaster Electric Guitar:

I took the Plunge. Received mine last night. It is everything I had hoped it would be. USA-made Stratocaster, sweet sound from the 3 Standard Single Coil pickups. No Hum that I can detect, and I even TRIED to cause it. The 9.5 radius neck really helps with the Barre Cords. With this guitar, I can EASILY do Barres that were very difficult for me on my other guitars. I have to get used to the "10s" strings (I was using 9s for a long time), but it handles real well. I did a lot of Bending, from the Nut to the 12th fret, and NO fretting out or buzzing. This guitar behaves like a favorite old dog.

LOVE the RANGE you get, with the 5-way PU Selector. I use an El Cheapo clip-on Tuner...once it's tuned, it STAYS in tune.

Guitar came perfectly set-up, Intonation and all is perfect, or at least as perfect as I can tell. Needs NO setup work. Take it out of the box, tune it up a half-step or so, and away you go. Packing was excellent - very well protected.

The finish is BEAUTIFUL. NO flaws in the wood or the finish. The natural wood, through the Satin stain, is clean and clear. No knots, spots or cracks.

No Whammy bar, but I didn't want one anyway. Rigid bridge, but I expect that will help it stay in tune. Love the headstock and Logo. Clear-stained Maple neck & fretboard, Jumbo frets...everything I always wanted in a Stratocaster.

AT THIS PRICE, I'd say: GRAB IT. Don't even consider a MIM - not to knock them, but - get THIS one instead. You'll be very happy you did. My two other guitars are going to get very Jealous, very soon. I am very happy I bought this. I recommend it, with no reservations.

P.S.: Comes with a decent padded Gig bag, which is nice, but - spring for a Fender Hardshell case. I did.

Comments about Fender USA Nitro Satin Series Stratocaster Electric Guitar:

You know, it's funny. I'm a child of the 80's. I guess I always liked Fenders and Gibsons, but I was caught up in that whole metal thing. I had played a ton of strats/strat copies/strat clones, etc... and they were "ok", but to me, happiness was a Charvel/Jackson or Ibanez.

        It's a genre thing I guess, whatever.

As I've gotten older though, and the metal thing has piped down, I find myself revisiting a lot of the classics. I love Gibsons, Gretsch, Ricks, etc... and recently I found myself wanting to own a strat, something I could play good old rock-n-roll with.

Fender has always irked with the way they have to offer a guitar at every price point, for every style, all the time. It makes it very difficult to navigate through the muck to find something that will actually suit you, that doesn't cost a fortune.

I knew exactly what I wanted, and was shocked when I saw this strat being offered on sale for FAR less than I thought I would have to spend for this type of strat. I ordered it,even though it was backordered, and waited like a kid at Christmas until it showed up a month or so later.

All I can say is this; I owe you strat-heads out there an apology. I flippin' LOVE this guitar. The other reviews have done a great job and covering the fit and finish and the tone. I could see getting better tuners and MAYBE some different pups (probably not though), but besides that I wouldn't change a single thing. Not one thing.

The setup was awesome right out of the box, the gig bag is nicer than most, and I just have to say that I have never... N-E-V-E-R had a guitar feel so natural in my hands so quickly. It took literally an hour for the guitar to feel like I've been playing it for years. I am impressed.

So, if you can't tell, I'm a big fan of this axe!

Comments about Fender USA Nitro Satin Series Stratocaster Electric Guitar:

This was a total bargain, pretty much am American Standard. I still can't believe what I got it before. Not only was it better than a Level 2, it was better than a Level 1 Mint! If you want a working Stratocaster, BUY THIS NOW! You would be a fool to let this deal go! Incredible and smooth, great fingerboard and fretwork. The tome with this finish is magically delicious! I may change to hotter pups, MAYBE, but I already ordered Fender locking tuners for it, also at a discount! Buy this ax or lose a huge opportunity! BUY IT USED IF UOU HAVE TOO!

Comments about Fender USA Nitro Satin Series Stratocaster Electric Guitar:

I've been a "Gibson Man" most of my life, but I always wanted a Strat. After buying this guitar, I don't pick up my Gibsons so much anymore. I absolutely love the feel of this instrument. Lovely neck, great action, and it's the perfect size for me. It is now my go to guitar. I was reluctant to buy a guitar online without taking it for a test spin first. But when I did get my hands on it I was very pleasantly surprised. I really like the oversized headstock too. All in all I am very pleased with both the quality and price of this model.

I've had this guitar for 4 months and it is now my go to guitar. The feel of the neck is amazing. The pickups have a great sound but I can't stand stage noise so, I put in Dimarzio Area's. To have a noiseless American Strat for under a grand is a bargain.

Comments about Fender USA Nitro Satin Series Stratocaster Electric Guitar:

High Quality, great looking, great fret work and just all-around well built US made guitar. Fender uses the older style trem system (6 screws) instead of their newer (2 screw) system, in which I would prefer. If you are used to a Les Paul neck, it's very similar to feel and playability except for bending. The 9.5 Radius neck will not allow you to get those deep bends while maintaining a lower action without fretting out. The fix, raise the action. But, for the money, I hate to say but I feel that the Fender beats Gibson's lower line US models. If it had a 12 Radius neck, It would have gotting a Five Star Rating.
