The main reason I purchased this guitar was for the sustainer. I was so excited about the idea of having relentless sustain at any volume that I lost sight of the big picture, which was the overall quality of the guitar - which turns out to be very poor. The volume and tone pots of the guitar are like pot-metal, soft and cheap... one stem was bent and one was squished to where the knob constantly pulled off during play. The ground wire came loose in the electronics during a gig, wasn't pretty. Slippage in the tuning pegs constantly affected the tuning and the chrome finish on the bridge and tail piece are already showing wear from very little playtime. Not good for a brand new guitar at an expensive price. Fernandes, though they were quick to fix the issues at no cost (still tuning problems), their communication with the customer is almost nil. Workmanship-wise, the guitar rates with most entry level guitars, plus noisy neck pickup, and a heavy-dense particle board feel. However, feature-wise - the sustainer, the looks (black finish), the nice fast neck... if you're feeling impulsive... you may make a very expensive mistake - like I did. I would highly recommend this guitar if it was half the price... instead, all I can suggest is be mindful of the big picture.
the only problem with this guitar is that the straplocks come loose other than that it is an awesome guitar the seymour duncans are cool
