Comments about Giannini CDR Pro Thin CEQ Nylon String Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I've been looking around for a thin line body classical guitar for a while and I tried a couple of other brands like the Cordoba C5-CET, Fender CN-240SCE, Cordoba 55FCE and the Ibanez GA35TCE ... but then I came across this Giannini CDR-PRO THIN CEQ, made of beautiful Ceder (top) and Rosewood (back and sides). Rosewood is known for its high response rate and broad range of overtones, and is also characterized by strength and complexity in the bottom end and an overall darkness of tone in the rest of the range. Strong mids and highs also contribute a richness of tone to the upper registers.

The action is low, which makes it perfect for fingerstyle players. Other then the action, there are no flaws with the guitar, the intonation, nut, finish, tuning pegs, etc. are all fine. and it comes with a high-quality Fishman ISYS+ pre-amp. The tuners are stable and solid and the guitar stays in tune for very long periods of time. The neck (50mm) is slightly narrower than a classical guitar (52 mm). The cut-away body makes it easy to reach the top frets. I replaced the strings with hard tension d'Addario's (EJ46) and the sound is just perfect! It has a very deep sound when hooked up to an amp or in the studio. I would definitely use this guitar for a gig. Thank to Musician's Friend, I got this guitar send to me within three days. Here is a first recording with this Giannini CDR-PRO THIN CEQ, hooked up to the M-Audio Fast Track Ultra 8R Audio Interface!

Comments about Giannini CDR Pro Thin CEQ Nylon String Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Very rich sound that should only get better Sounds great amplified or plugged in with treble rolled off and a bit of reverb.
Has a snappy sound almost like a Flamenco guitar- very percussive
Downside- no manual- no idea what type strings are on there( they sound good )

NO STRAP PINS AT ALL ??? front or back

Comments about Giannini CDR Pro Thin CEQ Nylon String Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

The Giannini is the best value for the money. It is very well made and has a very mellow great sound that is very pleasing to the ears. It's made to Brazilian specifications and Giannini has been making guitars for well over a century. The low action and narrow neck means it can be played for hours without tiring your hands.
