Comments about Gibson 2012 Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar:
My Les Paul Studio just arrived yesterday.Quick shipping to Canada and arrived in perfect condition. I ordered the Ebony Gold version and had concerns because the photo on the website was wrong but the correct guitar arrived. My other guitar is a Fender Stratocaster Select series and I find the Les Paul provides some desired different sounds.

sound and tone to the bone. So definately best sound accomplished by tone woods and chambering and the wiring of the pickups.
Miner complaints, tap to single one @ a time ok, but both @ the same time, very dull sounding.
coil tap up = yuk. coil tap down=awesome.
slightly sharp fret edges. finish. Its a beauty

Great guitar. Looks great even without a fancy top or binding. I have the vintage sunburst and could not be happier with it. Great price for a great guitar. No problems with the quality of this guitar. I would recommend this guitar to my buddies.

Comments about Gibson 2012 Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar:
There are two features that I find crucial to an ax. That is the pickups and the neck. The LP arrived and it was easy to adjust the settings right out of the box. I find the 490 and 498 pickups to be dynamic and favor them over the burstbuckers offered with the LP deluxe. I can only rate the Cordilla neck as fair. It came with slight flaws and small pores in spots. In addition the frets on this LP are rough and sharp. Regardless, the front and back finish were fine and by far these have the best LP tuners. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and would recommend this LP to any Blues, Metal or Rock player.
