Comments about Gibson 2015 ES-335 Studio Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar:

After trying 3 different 2014 ES335's I about gave up on trying another one. I don't really know what happened with Gibson in 2014 but all the guitars I received had serious quality problems, from bad finishes, rough spots on the frets, tarnished chrome, to serious fret buzz. I was disappointed but determined to have a 335 so I made one last effort and got the 2015 model hoping it would be better. I'm completely satisfied now. The craftsmanship is very nice and everything is perfect. The only thing that I see that is a little bit of a bother is when you tune there is a bit of string pinging as the string stretches across the nut, but I will fix that with a touch of silicone oil and different strings. The new sunburst (ginger burst) is really beautiful looking. A nice improvement over last years sunburst which looked dingy in person in comparison to this. Glad I didn't give up, this is a great guitar.
