I actually own this guitar and it is amazing. It has a good weight to it and is a really solid built instrument. The P90-H really gets a great rock tone. The neck is a little thicker than some of the current Gibson models being made, however it feels really good in your hands and has great playability. This guitar is rock n roll all the way and although the price is a little high, I don't regret buying it and it was worth it. The gig bag is nicer than I thought it would be as well, it is a TKL bag and the Green Day logo on it is embroidered.
The color on the guitar is really cool too. The TV Yellow is somewhat see thru and shows the wood grain nicely, nothing like gloss yellow. If you are on the fence about getting it, get it, it's a cool guitar and worth it.

Uuuuh...correct me if I'm wrong but this isn't anything like my BJA Sig LP Jr. Mine came with a hard case with Green Day logo and is yellow with tobacco burst body. What happened to these? Also, that wrap around bridge needs replacing right out of the box. My luthier couldn't intonate it so I had him install an adjustable bridge. Plus, the P90H p'up hummed and he had to reverse the polarity to quiet it. Actually what motivated me to write all this is 'cause I bought a nearly new Epi LP Jr yesterday and the thing is perfect, inclucing a compensated wraparound bridge which is perfectly intonated, and a single humbucker that doesn't hum! I'm giving it to a young friend who wants to go electric, but I kinda hate to see it go! Better get with it Gibson.

Comments about Gibson Billie Joe Armstrong Signature Les Paul Junior Double Cutaway Electric Guitar:
This guitar is an amazing replication of a 1960 doublecut tv model junior. The TV Yellow finish is fantastic, and truly displays the grain with a Nitro finish. The P-90H (or H90) pickup has a great output that has the crunch that I have desired since playing a single cut BJA signature in a shop years back. The uncompensated wraparound gives this guitar ultimate sustain, and it will never be replaced. For the price how can you say no?

Comments about Gibson Billie Joe Armstrong Signature Les Paul Junior Double Cutaway Electric Guitar:
This is a good guitar. The fretboard is not rosewood as described. It's Granadillo. It's a good wood and feels & sounds very good, but it IS NOT ROSEWOOD. Granadillo has been used for years as a tonewood and so far I like it. I did replace the volume & tone pots & tone cap with '50's style wiring and good CTS pots. It really opened the tone up. It's not bad outta the box, but now it's better!

Comments about Gibson Billie Joe Armstrong Signature Les Paul Junior Double Cutaway Electric Guitar:
Have owned the basic Gibson LP Jr for several years, and love the crunch and chunk that the P90 pickup delivers. The P90-H is actually hotter than the P90. Seems like it shouldn't be that way, since I expected the noise-cancelling Humbucker setup would chop out the fringe resonances, but this pickup surprised me by its faithfulness to the original P90's tone. The color seemed a little off to my naked eye, but I took photos of it, and the color in my photos matches the color in the advertisement photos, so that was just a lighting issue. The difference between the slim 60's neck and the old 'baseball bat' 50's neck is actually not so big. There is no BJA signature on the back of the neck, but that wasn't a must-have for me. The smooth, wrap-around bridge has no saddle ridges, like on my old jr, and that seems to contribute to a noticeably longer sustain, which makes feedback easier to generate and control, compared to my old jr. I wanted the slimmer neck and the double-cut look, but didn't want to lose the tonal characteristics of the P90. This model appeared to be the answer, and when they dropped the price, further resistance was futile. If you're just driving around to gigs/practice, then the soft case is fine, and actually preferable to lugging the hard-shells.

Comments about Gibson Billie Joe Armstrong Signature Les Paul Junior Double Cutaway Electric Guitar:
I had to send a brand new guitar out to be completely set up. The price was good but after paying for the set up I could have bought it anywhere. Gibson is really slipping. Orville would have been ashamed the way this guitar left the factory.

Comments about Gibson Billie Joe Armstrong Signature Les Paul Junior Double Cutaway Electric Guitar:
Like the yellow and the neck size and neck color. Feels solid and smooth. Wanted a double cut. The next pice on a double cut is 1100 or 1200. Its a no frills guitar. No let downs. I had a Slash maple top payed 1000. Sold it. not into the branding on the head stock and it was not a USA. No real branding on the Joe, just on pick guard. I like the idea it is a gibson USA. The quality feels better.

Comments about Gibson Billie Joe Armstrong Signature Les Paul Junior Double Cutaway Electric Guitar:
Being a huge Green Day fan I've wanted this guitar since it was released, but I couldn't justify spending the money for it since I already had Billie's first Junior and many others. Then a sale hit and this thing dropped down to 799, which was irresistable to me. I got it and was blown away. Definitely prefer this one over his first signature. The neck feels a tad thinner and it is noticeably lighter(things that I saw as a plus). Otherwise, it's pretty much the same guitar. I must say the finish is much darker than it looks in the picture. It's more less a light brown than a TV yellow. That being said, this thing is BEAUTIFUL. It has an amazing texture to it and you can really see the grain of the wood. In addition, this thing(in my case) is FLAWLESS in terms of craftsman ship. My other Junior had a barely noticable knick in the headstock and a tiny bit of glue residue between the neck and body when it came it. I overlooked that stuff and didn't feel it was worth trying to get another one over. My only complaint would be the softshell case. It's still good quality, but I would have prefered another hardshell instead. Overall, this guitar is great and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice crisp rock tone. I'd pick this one every time over any of the '58 reissues!

You've got to be nuts paying this much for what was once considered a budget guitar. If you're such a greenday fanboy why not get a no-name strat, that's what he used for their old stuff. The price of this guitar is just obscene, come on gibson.

Comments about Gibson Billie Joe Armstrong Signature Les Paul Junior Double Cutaway Electric Guitar:
This guitar was only my second, but I have a feeling that it will last me for a long time to come. This was a major upgrade from my Squire Stratocaster, so undoubtably it was better quality. The strings that come on it sound amazing, and the action is perfect. If you're playing a lot of Green Day, which I suppose you are since tho is BJA's custom, it sounds amazing! Honestly, my friends have heard me play and they can't tell a difference! I like to keep things simple, so this was a great choice. One pickup (still louder than my strat), 2 knobs, one for tone and another for volume, a pickguard which serves the purpose without taking up half the guitar, and not a lot of irrelevant curves. That said, it's somewhat heavy, but it's worth it. Plus you can play anything on this thing. From The Beatles to swing, it sounds PERFECT! If you're looking for a guitar to last you, this is the one!
