The crème de la crème of LP designs!

All the glowing vintage beauty of the deep metal-flake gold top with the thick, gorgeous tone of "Patent Applied for Humbuckers" the first year they came out. Now called BurstBuckers (a 1 at the neck and a 2 at the bridge), they're joined to the original CTS pots and bumble bee caps for totally authentic tone. Solid, non-weight relieved mahogany back. Early '50s rounded neck profile provides vintage feel, too. Includes hardshell case.

Gibson's Custom Shop produces some of the finest electric guitars on earth. Using the best materials money can buy, a staff of skilled luthiers reproduce some of the greatest Gibsons of the past and create stunning new instruments for players and collectors who demand the best.

Superior tonewoods, perfect leveling of frets from the factory.  Electronics (Burstbuckers) are as quiet as can be, and extremely responsive and powerful.

Overall:

Many people criticize Gibson for overpricing their guitars.  For a long  time I agreed with that...until I heard this instrument.  The main  appeal of this instrument is its sound:  it is the equivalent of a fine  wine that has aged for many years and has complex characteristics.  Yes  it costs a lot, but if you invest in this guitar you will be very, very  glad you did.  It's worth every penny.  Superior tonewoods, vintage specs, and rock-solid craftsmanship are all prevalent in this instrument.  It is responsive to the subtlest touch and when you play hard it reciprocates in kind.  The depth of sound is incredible:  I have never heard such stark delineation between the third (G) and second (B) string - you really have to make a decision which string you're going to use for the sound you want!

If you are a fan of Les Pauls, this guitar will satisfy your every desire.  You'll never want another.
