A historic guitar that has never lost its appeal. This one-of-a-kind, figured mahogany beauty might have your name on it.
The Gibson Les Paul Junior Single Cutaway Electric Guitar was introduced in 1957 as an economy version of the Les Paul Guitar. It featured the same mahogany construction as its more expensive counterpart, but with a flat top and a single pickup. A lot of players preferred the simplicity of the Les Paul Junior over the more elaborate Standard and Custom models.
A meticulous re-creation of the original, this unique guitar has a solid, figured mahogany body with nickel hardware. The one-piece mahogany set neck has a long tenon and an early 50's rounded profile. Combined with the compensated wraparound bridge/tailpiece, this provides solid intonation and vibrant resonance. The single dog-ear P-90 pickup dishes out single-coil high definition with added punch -- beautiful electric guitar tone through a lightly or heavily pushed amp. Rosewood fretboard with 22 frets and dot inlays. Chrome hardware.
