This is one of the best guitars ever ! The weight (Lenny's preferred weight) makes it really balanced and the lighter mahogany just resonates!Tons of tones! You can get Santana-like warmth from its thick fat neck. I especially love the vibrola on it ..it makes string bending a special treat. I pick it up everyday and listen to it sing...oh did I mention it is a visually stunning guitar? It is the ultimate rock symbol of gold and black sparkle.
Besides being the best looking flying V out there today, this is one hell of a rock guitar! plug it in an amp and you've got instant classic rock tone bliss! Neck feels smooth and man! it is loud! I own about 20 guitars and this one sounds the loudest unplugged. Some might find the guitar simple, but sometimes simplicity works best.
This guitar simply looks stunning! The sound is as good as it looks too, I can't resist not picking it up when I see it sitting in my room, it has a really clean touch and the sound is agressive and will play you any music you want it to. I only was concerned about the price, I had been working for 7 months straight and was planning on getting a Gibson Zakk Wylde LP, but for some reason i couldn't resist this guitar, and i am happy with my opinion, even though i wouldn't mind a Gibson ZW LP either :)
