Bought this guitar last weekend. It's made in Canada. Plays great straight out of the box. A few minor adjustments needed (radius, lower action, etc.) but these are very nit picky, personal adjustments. This guitar is simple, nothing fancy, but plays amazing. My main acoustic is a Taylor 810, but I bought the DSR for live shows. The DSR stacks up pretty close (tone-wise) to the 810, but it's way cheaper. Had a Fishman Matrix I installed this week and ran it through a Fishman Pro EQ II...sounded amazing through a small Mackie PA. I definitely recommend this guitar.
