ES-330 Limited Edition Thinline Hollow Body Electric Guitar with Bigsby

This Limited Edition traditional thinline hollowbody Gibson ES-330L features the rare addition of a Bigsby B-7 vibrato tailpiece, and a hand-applied ebony nitrocellulose lacquer finish in Gibson's Vintage Original Spec.

Gibson's artistic VOS finish technique gives us a guitar that by all appearance has been around for a few years but has been very well maintained and could have been the guitar played by such luminaries as Grant Green, BB King, or Keith Richards. But wait, it is brand spanking new. Although lacquer is more labor intensive and expensive to apply, all Gibson products continue to be finished in this traditional material. Gibson believes that next to no finish or a French polish, old-world lacquer continues to be the best finish for tone production on any stringed instrument.

The ES-330 tone begins with a traditional maple/poplar/maple laminated top back and sides, reinforced by quartersawn Adirondack spruce/hide glue bracing, joined to a genuine mahogany neck with Gibson's traditional mortise-and-tenon glued in neck joint. It is translated to the amplifier via two Gibson Memphis Historic Spec vintage-style humbucker pickups, by way of four hand-matched pots plus offset Orange Drop Capacitors for maximum tonal clarity between both pickups. Normally seen running Gibson P-90 single-coil pickups, this rare bird with MHS Humbuckers and the Memphis Tone Circuit offers a tonal addition to your guitar armory unavailable from any other guitar.

The 24.75" easy playing and easy bending scale length begins with vintage-style tuning keys and a 1.7" width bone nut, crossing Gibson's original 3-way adjustable ABR-1 bridge, anchored in the Bigsby B-7 Vibrato tailpiece. Playability is enhanced with a 12" radius rosewood fingerboard, nestled between hand-rolled neck binding on top of Gibson"s ultra-fast Slim Taper neck profile. Add a meticulous setup by way of the super-precise PLEK system and a lightweight guitar that hangs perfectly around your neck, this guitar can be played for hours on end without fatigue.
