One of the best-loved acoustics ever made and a true American classic.
The Gibson Hummingbird True Vintage Acoustic Guitar is handcrafted in the USA as a proud addition to their True Vintage collection. A square shoulder dreadnought with a solid, premium Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides, this arresting guitar's tone is as ruby-throated as its namesake! A round mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard lets your fingers take flight over mother of pearl parallelogram inlays. The Hummingbird guitar's nut and saddle are crafted from bone.
Binding is 6-ply on top and 4-ply on the back. Vintage "Green Keys" tuners, a mother-of-pearl crown inlay on the headstock, tortoise hummingbird pickguard and a traditional Gibson rosewood bridge complete the vintage-style guitar's look. Includes premium hardshell case.

I have played for about 8 years & wond numerous guitars. Simply put this guitar is worth the money it sounds better with every stroke. It is crisp & warm with a velvet tone that you can never explain unless you hear yourself. beutiful apperance & a neck that is very true....Proabbly the best guitar in the world, played hundreds maybe thousands just cant beat a Gibson hummingbird TV!
I have had a 2010 Hummingbird TV for a couple of months. I've played accoustics for over 30 years and this is the sweetest sounding, most comfortable playing guitar I've ever played. Different than other 'hummingbird' models - this one is, to me, the best of the best.
I have played guitar for about 4 years and my great grandmothers owned it and its been pass down to me.its truely awsome great tone. never get out of tune even if you leave it in the case for a year. its got a great shape its truely worth its money. so yes truely awsome guiatr.
I have been playing guitar for 13 years and have owned my Gibson 1960's Style for 3 years. This is a great guitar, my main complant is finding the right pick-up and its not the greatest studio guitar. But so far as play goes "she" is awesome! Mine has cracks beacuse of the dry weather in the south and my bird on it is fading. But it doesnt affect the tone, sound, or music. Its a huge purchase and a hard one to make. I will never sell it, if that tells you anything.
After more than thirty years playing guitar I found heaven on earth exists. The only thing why I didnt give a 5.00 in all the aspects is just because the bridge doesnt have adjustable pole pieces. All the rest is unbelievable. Mine is a 94 model that I just got a week ago and music never sounded so good. The simpathetic resonance between the strings is something you have to experience. Cannot compare with other Gibson models.
