reflecting his love and respect for the legendary instrument that has been his performing and songwriting partner for decades. It's a sweet tone machine on par with the best pre-war Gibson flattops, yet equipped as a top-flight performance machine for today's professional singer/songwriter. The John Hiatt Model is a limited edition of 100 guitars. 

With a gorgeous triburst solid Sitka spruce top that powerfully projects its robust tone and mahogany back and sides for warm, full presence, the John Hiatt Signature Model acoustic-electric guitar is any singer/songwriter's best friend. Whether fingerpicking lightning runs or churning out fat chords, this dreadnought guitar brings out your best sound.

The upgraded Fishman Ellipse Matrix Blend onboard electronics feature a completely redesigned low-noise preamp system. The system blends the sounds from a custom cardioid condenser mini-microphone (with a newly remodeled mic arm) and the Acoustic Matrix undersaddle pickup for natural, accurate acoustic sound for playing in amplified environments. The soundhole-mounted preamp allows easy control via mic/pickup blend and volume sliders.

As one of rock's most gifted singer-songwriters of the last 40 years, John Hiatt has continually forged new personal ground with the music that has made him worthy of eleven Grammy nominations as well as a variety of other awards and distinctions in the music industry.
