Comments about Gibson L-00 Pro Acoustic-Electric Guitar:
I am a Martin guy and was planning to buy the 0 Parlor. I wanted something small for travel and still had a high enough quality to perform. But I was not happy with the sound. I picked up the Gibson It was more balanced and had better balance. The workmanship was superior. I worked it through an amp (Something I could not do with the Martin) and although it had nothing but volume control it sounded great. I bought it and took it home and put it through the numbers. It is slowly becoming my favorite home guitar and will be performing with it next week For what it does it is a great buy.

Comments about Gibson L-00 Pro Acoustic-Electric Guitar:
The fretboard on my guitar was rough-the first time I ran a cloth over it, I got a splinter in my finger. I used a fingernail file to smooth it down. Overall quality not as good as my 412ce Taylor or my 1977 J45 deluxe.

Comments about Gibson L-00 Pro Acoustic-Electric Guitar:
I bought this acoustic guitar here. Sounds great, not very loud but much louder than a parlor. The pickup sounds awesome, transparent and realistic tone. The mahogany back and sides look nice but not high grade. The fretboard is not highest grade either but still nice looking. Tuners are perfect. Fretboard edges are kinda sharp but I like it like that. Frets are perfect up to the 14th fret then they get a little sharp, but who cares. The top is nice but definitely not AA grade. The shorter 24 3/4" scale obviously makes it easy to bend strings but does not sound as good for strumming. Single note soloing is excellent. Has a true vintage 30's bluesy tone through and through. Tusq nut and saddle sound good but kinda stale and well... plastic. I prefer bone, ivory or horn. The one piece neck is so amazing. The 12" rounder radius makes more playabel than 16" radius of Martins. Overall I love this guitar. Any US made Gibson is great. I had a Canadian Gibson once. It was good but doesn't compare to the Montana ones. I like the Advanced Jumbo with the regular 25.5" scale length better than this guitar though.
