i bought this guitar about a year ago and i love it.it's a great guitar for all stiles of playing and the strings are a comfortable distance apart so it makes playing cords nice and easy.id recommend it for anyone.
The J-200 Jumbo is super sounding, but this is an awesome 25.5" scale beauty. I could not believe the comfort and ease of playing - I had to own this guitar. Craftsmanship is great, well built. The iMix L.R. Biggs gives so many options, and the natural tone of this guitar is worth every penny. I am so happy with this guitar. I own 30+ guitars and most are high end and I know this one will be next to me in most of my song writing and recording now. Great Job Gibson
I recently bought a taylor GS-5. I decided I needed another acoustic for alternate tuning and wanted a different tone. I picked up this guitar and was amazed at the tone.. especially because of the comfortable size of the guitar. This is a great guitar for anybody who wants crisp, organic natural tone. And its great for all types of music.
This guitar sounds as beautiful as it looks. I've owned it for about a year now and I still cant help but react when I open the case. It really is as good as everybody says it is.
I played this guitar at a local music store, and I was amazed. It is crisp sounding has a warm tone and feels great. I wish to buy one soon.Gibson makes extremly nice guitars and there's no wonder why they are one of the best.Once I played this guitar no other one could compare in the store. I played this gutiar until they closed at 6 and I went in at 4. I would recommend this guitar to those guitarist who have the money to buy this, and want a great guitar.
This is my first GIBSON which I payed without any thoughts and compare at the music store for it. Looks so nicer and sound is crisp. Its small body fits me with my smaller and shorter fingers so playability is, as others mentioned, farout. My play sounds better than to play other guitars.
I have recently bought one of these revised guitars and must say I am delighted with it. Sound is crisp and delightful and the action was set nicely straight from the factory. No faults or blemishes and it is also one where Emmylou has signed the label. Gibson, if you are reading this it would be nice to have some special labels done for signature guitars! Having the artist sign over one of your standard labels is a bit naff really.
If you want tone....you got it. This guitar is the best sounding acoustic guitar I have ever played and trust me I have played many. the sound that comes from it is so great. I recommend this guitar over a martin or taylor anyday. Great Buy
Bought one for my wife as a wedding gift, and couldn't be more pleased. What a knockout this baby is! Flawless craftsmanship, beautiful wood, great sound for a small-bodied acoustic. We've recorded a good bit with the L-200, and it's perfect for that--but there's a bonus: the Bluestick pickup transforms this sweetheart of a studio guitar into a huge-sounding stage instrument. The relatively low ratings for this guitar are goofy--if you know someone who needs a gorgeous, great sounding smaller guitar, this is the one.
