A major disappointment

By recman727

from St. Louis, MO

This was supposed to be the guitar of a lifetime for me. I've been playing for over 30 years and finally had enough money to buy a quality instrument. Unfortunately, it came with a major defect in my opinion. Two of the strings kept hitting something producing a tinny vibration. I took it back where I bought it twice and they insisted they didn't hear it, despite making adjustments and changing the new set of strings I had put on it. They referred me to a local Gibson service dealer who also adjusted it. I still heard that tinny vibration and ended up just giving it to my son. Guess Gibson isn't what I thought it was all these years. I'll probably buy a Gretsch.
