I've owned my Gibson Les Paul Standard Faded for 4 months, and I like it more all the time. It came perfectly set up. As soon as I pulled it out of the case, it was instantly playable. The neck is strong and allows for fast playing. The Burstbucker Pro pickups are versatile--playing on the middle position produces great acoustic-like tones. The flames on mine are irregular, which I prefer, but I have seen LP Std Fadeds with perfect flame tops. Mine stays in tune, and I've kept the stock bridge. The LP Std Faded is a little brighter than the LP Std, but it has that vintage Gibson sound.
