Comments about Gibson Limited Run Flying V with Tremolo Electric Guitar:
Well this makes my third Gibson. It is a fantastic guitar! I was dissapointed it arrived not set up. It was loosely tuned to F which with a floating bridge like a Rose was very time consuming to set to E. It also required the intonation & action to be set. The up side... once I got it right... it is everything I was hoping it would be. The ceramic p/u's scream bloody murder! Excellent feel, tone, & playability along with being light as a feather. This is one ax you won't be dissapointed with.

Comments about Gibson Limited Run Flying V with Tremolo Electric Guitar:
What a classic guitar.!!!Just beautiful!!.Not everyone can play a flying v (comfort wise) but I am into classical and rock so it is so easy to sit and set the v on your leg and shred the scales with ease. This guitar needed some light setup work but all in all very pleased. ITS A LIMITED RUN!!!! The paint is a little to heavely sprayed cant make out the serial #s or MADE IN THE USA. Thats very important to me. Tremolo stays in tune,no big issues, get it before its a collectors piece. Just Trying to find a USA Gibson V with tremolo is hard to come by. Plays great.
Comments about Gibson Limited Run Flying V with Tremolo Electric Guitar:
Overall I'm very pleased because it's a great looking, sounding and playing USA Gibson V with a case for well under a grand. I have already enjoyed several gigs with this axe and if it gets a little beat up (it will) I won't care too much. No buyers remorse for this boy.
It's a very cool Gibo V with a well done Floyd Rose tremolo. The trem feels great on this guitar but I added a tremolo stabilizer for tuning stability. The neck shape feels super comfortable and it reminds me of a PRS wide fat neck carve. Not too thin. Grover tuners. The pickups sound really good with plenty of power for metal. They have a modern scooped mid quality to my ears. Love the nitro finish and the guitar smells like it looks....vanilla! I was a little surprized that the guitar has really good sustain and tone fattness considering the trem routing. The guitar plays really well and string bending is a breeze. The stock volume and tone pots had very poor taper to them and were changed out for Dimarzio's. This is always the case with Gibson in my experience. I'm not real wild about the control placement and I would have liked the volume control where the pickup selector is. I don't love the fretboard material but I can live with it. Very dry and rough. Very nice case though and the fret work is pretty good on this one as well.
Love the nitro and paint but Gibson needs to work on their QC. I have lots of cross-grain file marks on my fretboard and there is a a brass shim at the nut. No big deal and it's just cosmetic stuff...but not pretty. The tremolo claw is mounted crooked but this doesn't affect the trem function. It just looks bad. Some of the neck shaping around the neck-body joint is not real clean. This stuff doesn't bother me because I got the guitar from MF slightly used.
For me this guitar was a great value! A USA made Gibson with a Floyd Rose, nice paint, hot pickups, Grovers and a cool case. Hell yeah!
