I received this guitar today and thought I had been sent the wrong guitar. The grain is nothing like the picture had shown. Also, its almost impossible to even see the grain as the the flat-brown lacquer hides it... I couldn't see the grain till further inspection. Basically, I'm really disappointed in the finish.Guitar sounds and plays extremely well, fantastic even...I am not a prideful person anyhow, so I will keep it... but this guitar isn't as pretty as I had hoped it would be.Fantastic Gibson vintage sound and quality, just not a looker.
