Comments about Gibson SG Junior 60's Electric Guitar:
This is a very simple guitar and for Gibson quality it is as good as it gets, I have complicated guitars like Gretsches that have knobs for every occasion but this is good sound, feel and simplicity at its best with Gibson craftsmanship. I give it an all thumbs up for all purposes

Comments about Gibson SG Junior 60's Electric Guitar:
I was very pleased with this right out of the package. Musicians Friend outdid themselves. Not only did this piece come with a hard shell case rather than the gig bag as described, but the body is one solid piece of wood. No bad spots, fantastic quality, the cherry is freakin gorgeous and the body has a feel to it that not much can come close too. The smell of the finish is great, I know that sounds silly, but this is something to behold before you even play it. Then it gets even better. I have small hands and I am very comfortable on the fretboard. We loved it so much we bought another (not a jr) very similar to it. The only "downfall" is that you can't set the intonation on this bridge for each string, so it gets close, but not precise. The other 60s sg you can tho. So we set this one up as a slide guitar and it plays beautifully.

Comments about Gibson SG Junior 60's Electric Guitar:
I've played many axes from the cheaper Squiers to expensive USA Fenders and all in between. For my own tastes, style, and hands this SG Junior is simply the finest made, feeling, and sounding instrument I've had the pleasure to play. Great work Gibson USA...keep on rocking out the fantastic craftsmanship!

Comments about Gibson SG Junior 60's Electric Guitar:
This guitar feels amazing. Fit and finish is perfect. Gibson simply owns the guitar making market as far as I'm concerned. Picked up this beauty since it's close to the one Tim Sult (Clutch) used on Robot/Hive Exodus. Totally thrilled with it. Can't say enough good things about it. The P90 sounds amazing. The neck is flawless and comfortable. Get it folks, you won't regret it!
Comments about Gibson SG Junior 60's Electric Guitar:
One P-90 at the bridge is all you need. Roll off the treble & you have a warm blues-sound.
It has the sustain of the Les Pauls costing thousands.
This guitar is the best buy available.
The action is great. Plays like a custom Les Paul without the weight. And, it has all the sustain of the expensive LP's.
Handmade in Nashville. Sounds Great, you get a clear, well balanced sound that can be converted into any style of music. Or, you can roll down the volume and/or bass & it becomes very warm but well balanced between the bass & treble notes.
For $850? I'd give it an 11 but the scale doesn't go that far.
Comments about Gibson SG Junior 60's Electric Guitar:
Love this guitar, if your itching for an SG junior then get this one!!! Great guitar for the money!
Straight forward and simple just the way it outta be!!! I love juniors. You can get a lot of different tones just by rolling on or off volume or tone. This guitar sounds great and stays in tune perfect. The maple fret board sounds great, great if you like a twangy clean sound but sounds perfect distorted to.
The build quality on this guitar is awesome. Neck is nice and smooth and the cherry finish is amazing. The body is really light and thin. I have an SG junior from 03 when they made them with the full pickguard and diffrence in weight between them is amazing, I dont know if Gibson is trying to use less wood or what but the 03 junior is a lot thicker and way heavier then this one. I still love them both though.
Great guitar for the money, though I wish they could sell them a little cheaper... Long live juniors i love this guitar
Comments about Gibson SG Junior 60's Electric Guitar:
Good.
SGs, and SG Juniors in particular are an acquierd taste... and I was hungry!
The Alnico V P-90 is more versatile than you might expect. The neck is like butter. I especially appreciate the non-compensated bridge/tailpiece... perfect place to rest the edge of my hand. Intonation? Believe it or not, it's spot-on. I'm guessing it's because the bridge radius matches the fingerboard radius exactly, but what do I know? (I know it sounds good to me!)
Looks like the price might be going up. If you want one, now's a good time.
Gibsons made in the USA are frickin' expensive. Thank goodness for "Street Pricing."
