I own the 2007 version of this guitar which was called the SJ-200 Elite, changed to SJ-300 for 2008. It is by far the finest instrument I've ever owned or even played. It cuts through with a true, ringing tone - my other acoustics sound like a jangly mess compared to this guitar. In the studio this guitar just sounds the way the acoustic guitar should sound, no need to mic it super close to the 12th fret to get more bass. It's not the easiest instrument in the world to play with its wide neck, but the payoff is well worth it.
This guitar is truly amazing. It is a great representation of everything gibson acoustic stands for. Perfect action, amazing tone, and it is just plain beautiful. This guitar is truly worth the money.
