A fusion of classic Gibson appointments.
The Gibson DSM-CE cutaway acoustic-electric guitar is made from solid wood and sports features such as Gibson's traditional scalloped bracing, double acting truss rods, a premium Sitka spruce top, and a Fishman Prefix Pro Blend pickup.
The DSM-CE Dreadnought cutaway acoustic electric guitar features a J-45 headstock, the rosette of the SJ-200, the pickguard from the Blues King, and the bridge from the Woody Guthrie Southern Jumbo. Gibson blended these timeless features with two classic body styles—the legendary dreadnought and the grand concert, and mahogany back and sides with white body binding—creating a series of guitars for every personal preference.
Other significant appointments on this Gibson guitar include a solid mahogany, 25-1/2-inch scale neck with an ebony fingerboard, white boltaron binding, genuine mother-of-pearl dot inlays, chrome hardware, and Tusq saddles, nuts, and bridge pins. The headstock and peghead carry the Gibson logo in silk-screened gold letters. In addition, every Songmaker Series acoustic comes with its own standard hard shell case from Gibson Acoustic.

I just got one of these last night. Great warm tone for finger picking. Sounds really rich and it has a beautiful neck that is almost "Taylor" like. I did get mine at a really discounted price because it was damaged, but it sounds great. This is my first Gibson and I am impressed with this Canadian made guitar.
