A sonic ace up your sleeve.
The Vegas Standard is the first Gibson USA flat top semi-hollowbody electric guitar to come equipped with humbuckers. It has a mahogany back and maple top with single-ply binding and Gibson '57 Classic humbuckers at the neck and bridge. Trini Lopez soundholes give it a very original-yet-retro look that's pure Vegas-style flash. The mahogany neck has a classic '60s Gibson profile with an ebony fingerboard, gold frets, split diamond mother-of-pearl inlays, 24-3/4" scale, and 1.695" nut width. It comes with a stopbar tailpiece and tune-o-matic bridge, black top-hat knobs, pearloid-button tuners, and chrome hardware. The hardshell case has a black reptile-pattern cover, dark grey plush interior, and a silver Gibson USA logo. Looking for a more upscale Vegas guitar? Go all-in on a Gibson Vegas High Roller!

If you want a light and balanced no frills Gibson with humbuckers and a slim-taper neck, this is it. I went through three of 'em to get to this one. Non-sticky satin neck...the natural finish is breathtaking, and only available in the Standard. Not for everyone, but a nice complement to your les paul or 335 or jazzbox or strat.
Slim/wide neck has 22 fret access, the ebony board is a nice upgrade to rosewood. Light weight/easy on the shoulder, with pretty good balance. Big frets. Strat style semi-hollow flat top is a nice change of pace for Gibson. Heavy duty case. Covers jazz, country, rock, blues, etc. I think it will become a popular model. Can't find one locally to try? Order from this site, you can always return it, but mine is a keeper.
