This is a sweet instrument! It was my first electric guitar and as I gain more experience I'm happier with it every day. The stock pickups are good. I ended up experimenting and put fender noiseless pickups in. And in my opinion it definitely enhanced the sound, and made the guitar a lot hotter, which is what I was looking for. But more than anything the guitar feels real good, and is 100% beautiful. Perfect for blues! Gave it a ten in value, because it is definitely one of the best, if not the best in its price range.
I bought this Pre-loved used guitar and I found this G&L Tribute Asat Classic is my new baby. I have played some Fender's but this takes the cake. I love the neck on this cause I got small hands and I play Rhythm all my life and it feels great to play rhythm. Love the color too. I'd recommend G&L over a Fender if anyone who is going to buy one especially a Second hand one at a good price.G&L you're a true legend.
I bought this ax from a local music store and have fell in love with it! I have played both Americian and Jap & Mexican strats for the last 22 years but this guitar beats them all, as far as sound quality and playability from a stock guitar. Every other guitar I have owned I have always had to change the pickups or do somthing to them to get the sound I wanted, but not this one. This baby has that vintage Tele sound right out of the box. I love the american made pickups and brass saddles on the bridge. Don't go spend a fortune on a Telecaster and change the pickups to get that Nashville sound. Just buy this guitar!
This is the best guitar you will every find that a telecatser. Has great tone and has good sound. The only reason why it is not so popular is that fender switched to G&L. The L stand for his first name. So if you want a good fender guitar... this is the one you will need to get.
This is a Fantastic Instrument for the money, I played a ASAT Tribute, From one of my Students, Unbelievable, Action is Great, I like the wider neck, than a fender, the sound much better than it's Cousin, Great PUPS, Beats a Fender in all aspects,I just don't like the Big Tribute logo on the headstock, Unlike Fender Mex's,It's not large.I also played the Tribute Strat Excellent! You can't go wrong," Nothing is Perfect, I've been playing for at least over 40 yrs, I'm 57 yrs old, I don't consider my self an Old Geezer or look it,One of the greatest guitars for the money.
I had a friend that had one to many guitars and he had 2 of the G&L tributes so i got one of him he had gotten it from this site and I just love it I never play my les paul any more. The tone and ease of playing is awesome.
Easy to play and has a nice tone and handling.
