A hot-rodded Legacy that was made to rock!
The G&L Tribute Series Legacy HB Electric Guitar sports a slimmed down maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, 2 dual-rail humbucking pickups and an overwound alnico bridge humbucker. Controls include a 5-way pickup selector switch, Volume, and Tone with push/pull humbucking splitter switch. Other G&L Tribute Series guitar features are a Floyd Rose Special locking tremolo system, 3-ply black/white/black pickguard, and a G&L deluxe gig bag.

The finish on these is great, the neck is perfect - on the thinner side but tapers very little so soloing is VERY easy. No tuning issues at all, the floyd rose is a floyd rose special which are known to have stiff fine tuners, and they are a little stiff, but not NEARLY as bad as a LFR as on a cheap jackson or schecter. The special retains stability very good after many years, so I'm expecting it to hold up after many years of use. No tone complaints, G&L makes wonderful pickups! Coil split is great! Only thing i'd change is giving it a sculpted neck joint.

I've just recieved this guitar and might I say the finish is just pure amazing ! and I love how when you pull the tone knob upwards you split the humbuckers into single-coils.pretty good neck, it's rly nice and smooth...3 humbuckers "just wow"...by the way, i could swear that it has a built-in overdrive in the bridge pick up...and the only bad thing in this guitar is the FL...the fine tuning screws just keep getting stuck !

I just received mine after pre-ordering and waiting a few weeks for release. This is my first Floyd Rose equipped Tremolo guitar. When I unzipped the nice soft case the B and High E strings were already broken off the saddles. But I reattached the same strings as you can do on Floyd Roses. The ergonomics are classic Strat. The Neck is amazingly smooth and thin up high with nice medium thickness low. Frets seem big and sturdy. Pickups are great. 2 mini blade HB and a full HB at bridge. The Floyd Rose Special is the guitars weakness in quality. The trem bar wiggles too much when locked in. Screws were already rusting out of the box. The fine tuners are getting stuck because threading is warped which means low quality metal. FR setup was a PAIN. It took me an hour to understand it. But once you set it up you are going to bomb and squeal all day and stay in tune.
