Wow. I live in Canada (where Godins are made) so the price is actually quite lower. I bought an LG P-90 and was blown away. For the price, this guitar is unbeatalbe. The action is so low that I find it too low. The neck is smooth and feels better than any of my guitars other than the PRS. Loaded with SD P-90s, the thing screams!Best guitar value for the price. Period.
I first stumbled upon this guitar on the Godin site. I own a rare fender blueshawk and an LTD. I bought the LTD EC-1000 with emgs so i wouldnt beat up my blueshawk anymore. The LTD is alright, played ok, looked beautiful, but looks better than it plays. I wanted a new guitar and i wanted something that no one else has (yet). I thought "HEY GODINS ARE SOO NICE FOR THE PRICE" and no one really know about them here in colorado. I found this and i was sold, awesome color, the neck is sooo nice, sooo light, and awesome pickups for my kind of music. The best part is the bridge is set down in the body of the guitar so it gives a nice tone and is ver comfortable to play Im actually thinking of selling my LTD to buy another godin but we'll see.
I was at a fairly small guitar shop and picked this up to check it out...WWHHOOOSSHH!! totaly blown away. Very light for a young person like me, compact package, great action, and I'd imagine it ripps on a Fender DeVille. Totally in love, can't wait to purchase. Anyone got any advice?
I was looking for a guitar about a year back and at the time I was really focused on getting a Fender Toronado GT before they discontinued them. I went to my local guitar shop and was considering ordering the GT, but I decided its always a good idea just to play some other guitars around, just to make sure theres nothing better. Anyways, I came across this beauty and I was sold, it was perfect for me. It's extremely light, the action is amazing, the scale length is excellent, the EMG's sound amazing, and the finish doesn't scratch. It's an amazing guitar and I've gigged with it many times now and it's never let me down in any way. I prefer this guitar over my buds Epiphone Les Paul, and in my opinion its better by a mile. You will not be disappointed with the guitar, its even Canadian Too!!! Thats another great plus for me as I LOVE my country. Great Guitar, and I'm so glad I didn't get that Fender GT, I wish this guitar came in blue though, but you can't win them all. This is my main stage guitar by far and it has perfect balance on stage, it is a wonderful guitar.
