Classical nylon guitar concepts with an electric kick and a TRIC case.
The ACS blends classical guitar concepts with elements of solid body design. The incredibly comfortable neck from the Multiac Nylon is used here with a Maple body & Cedar top to achieve our most affordable synth access guitar ever. Although the body is chambered, response from the maple top is more typical of a solid body design than that of a traditional acoustic guitar. This design results in an instrument that is virtually free of feedback, making it easy to use even when the band gets loud.
The engine in both the ACS-SA & ACS-SA Slim includes individual transducer saddles powered by a customized preamp system from the RMC Pickup Company. This system not only produces superb amplified sound, but also produces a hexaphonic output through a 13-pin connector enabling direct access to Roland GR-Series guitar synthesizers. Includes TRIC case.
The TRIC case not only offers acoustic guitars unparalleled protection against the usual “bangs & bumps” in the everyday life of a musician but also offers up high-tech protection from the elements.

Comments about Godin Multiac ACS Nylon-String SA Acoustic-Electric Guitar:
...at last I have found you! Built more like an electric than an acoustic, for a classical, this baby will surprise you with its sound when plugged in. I bought this for use with a Roland GR-55 synth so I will need to update this when I get one and run it through its course. What this is, is a beautifully made, electric classical guitar with an electric edge. Run by a 9v battery, the sound is controlled by 1 volume, 3 band EQ (low, middle, and high), a separate volume for the synth, two buttons for changing the synth control on the Roland, and a 700 or 1200 Hz switch which changes the sound somewhat. Very well made (HOORAY GODIN), this plays like a dream for me as I need a slightly wider neck to accommodate my bigger fingers. Shaped like a Tele, it has a nice neck and hidden acoustic and synth pick-ups. Not loud unplugged (about the same as an electric unplugged) quieter if finger picking but a little louder with a pick, it gives a great electric sound comparable to any electric guitar (I currently play it through a Zoom GX1on or straight to an amp). This could be used for playing any kind of music (might look silly for metal but the sound would still be there) especially with a synth. Godin would be my go to buy brand anytime as they show an attention to detail and great workmanship you just don't find in most guitars today. Would I buy again? You bet! And the case is made from the same material used in car bumpers and helmets, molded and covered to look like a gig bag but with a noticeable advantage. Very pleased. Thank you Godin & MF!
