Comments about Gretsch Guitars FSR Two-Tone Electromatic Pro Jet with Bigsby Electric Guitar:

This is one gorgeous guitar. I'm a sucker for red and gold anyway, but if I didn't play guitar I'd still buy this to hang on my wall! Right out of the box the finish was flawless and the set-up was perfect. I've never had a guitar with a Bigsby before but it stays in tune just fine and it's fun to add a little shimmer to chords. And the tones! Bright and punchy without being harsh. Even in the neck position the clarity is nice. I have a Tele and a Strat and this guitar still sounds different. The only issue I have is with the strap pegs. They are knurled knobs that screw on to a threaded post that is pressed into the body making it next to impossible to add a straplock system. They do look nice and they're secure as long as they stay tight. I'll only be able to tell with more use if the knobs will loosen or not. Other than that, this guitar is a joy to play and will be a head turner at gigs. 10 thumbs up!
