    2007 Guild D40 Richie Havens

Comments about Guild D40 Richie Havens Signature Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar With Case:

I purchased my Richie Havens model D40 with Fishman onboard pre amp & electronics two years ago. I've had several mahogany dreadnaught guitars, and this is, by far, the nicest I've owned. It took about one year for the top to open up to its present state; it absolutely sings with great mids; clear crisp highs offset with Martin-like bass response. I gig with a twelve-string Guild and this as my six-string of choice. Not fancy other than the nice Guild Crown inlay on the headstock. I buy and sell lots of acoustic guitars; this one stays with me. It's easy to see why Richie selected this guitar as his axe of choice. Now, if I could just play like him...

    Amazing Guitar

Comments about Guild D40 Richie Havens Signature Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar With Case:

My roommate owns this guitar, it has an amazing sound. The dimensions of the body and neck are right on; not too big but not too small. If you are willing to pay the price, this is a highly recommended guitar

    Great sound and quality

Comments about Guild D40 Richie Havens Signature Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar With Case:

I traded a Taylor for the D40 and am very happy with my choice. The D40 has a much warmer and well rounded sound then my Taylor had. My D40 was made in Tacoma. I lowered the action and it plays free and easy. Great fret work by the way, not one fret out of line. Great sound and quality.
