Handsome, lush, and made with Guild's solid craftsmanship.
From Guild comes the GAD-G212E acoustic-electric guitar. Built on a popular dreadnought body design, this shape features strong sonic balance and projection, great for any musical setting. The Guild guitar starts with a solid Sitka spruce top for warm, balanced tone right out of the box. The solid mahogany back and sides continue this quality with a beautiful look, adding depth and projection to the 12-string's full sound. The Indian rosewood bridge and fretboard offer clear, lasting sustain, and the Grover rotomatic chrome-plated die-cast tuners provide precision tuning.
Other unique features on this acoustic-electric guitar include dovetail neck joint, dual truss rods, strap button with internal block reinforcement, ornate Mother-of-Pearl Position Inlays, Abalone Side Dot Position Inlays, Mother-of-Pearl Headstock Logo, Ebony Bridge Pins with Mother-Of-Pearl Dots, Ebony End Pin with Mother-Of-Pearl Dots, bone nut and saddle, dark mahogany body bindings, tortoise shell pickguard, back center wood mosaic inlay and dressed in a high-gloss polyester finish.
Acoustic Matrix VT Undersaddle Pickup System
Fishman's classic Acoustic Matrix Natural I preamp with the added benefit of ergonomic, soundhole-mounted Volume and Tone rotary controls. The Guild acoustic guitar features the same tried and true, flagship acousitc matrix pickup. This is a "discrete" system as most of the components of the system are housed within the 12-string guitar's body, so there isn't a big hole cut into the side of the guitar with a big preamp unit mounted in it.
The Guild GAD-G212E Guitar and other Guild Acoustic Design (GAD) series instruments are designed to be the right tool for the job. They are high quality, all-solid wood instruments that offer exceptional value. Experience the legendary sound of Guild at a more affordable price than ever, and get the guitar that will help you craft the perfect performance.

My first GAD-series, from MF. Liked it so much, got the GAD-30R Orchestra (arrived last week) and a JF3012 from MF arriving tomorrow. (I?ve a thing for 12?s.) Had my ?74 Martin D12-18 restored and was looking for another acoustic 12 for more casual playing. Was wary of buying Chinese-made but reviews for GAD series are generally positive so I took a chance, knowing I could return it. Not gonna happen: It?s a keeper! Perfect fit and finish with quality GAD appointments reviewed elsewhere. Very classy! Action was great right out of the box, stock strings sound great. Only unknown is how the poly finish will hold up. Same woods as my Martin, but richer bottom & mids and a bit less jangly. Maybe since Guild says strings are .012-.053 vs. 010.-.047. (Martin wins out on the high?s.) Still fooling with Fishman undersadle PU. Prefer Fishman Rare Earth active soundhole PUs for my 6-strings but not on 12?s (too much plain A octave string gain). Hopeful I can dial in a good 12 sound w/ this PU.
