When this heavy 12 String is tuned it sounds nice. Lots of ring to it but two shortcomings. One is the guitar is enormously heavy. Perhaps due to materials used. Secondly, staying in tune is difficult(so with many 12 string acoustics) but the sound is not as rich, full and deep as I would like. Having said that, it holds up well over the years and does improve with age. Sounds mellower with age. Not a guitar with what I would call splendid sound and fingerpicking is difficult. Action on fretboard is not easy.
