Comments about Guild GAD Series D-125 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:
If I knew I could get a guitar of this quality for this price, I would have done it years ago. This guitar is quickly becoming one of my favorites. It plays as well as many electrics and the tone is outstanding. Even the case it comes with is high quality. I knew what I was expecting when I had my mind set on a Guild. They completely over-delivered on this one.

The Guild D125 is an amazingly high quality guitar for the price.
Both in the feilds of Tone, & Construction.
I very much enjoy the extremely present and punchy Bass end.

Comments about Guild GAD Series D-125 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:
In a few words, this guitar is one of the best sounding if not the best sounding instruments in its price range. I played a similar all mahogany Martin and it didn't hold a candle to this beauty. If I needed another guitar, I would by this in a heartbeat. But I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone on a budget looking for a high end sound. It really is hard to match. It also plays beautifully and is quite honestly one of the pretiest guitars out there to look at. In the market for a terrific guitar at a great value? Then don't hesitate trying one of these out. You won't likely be disappointed.

Comments about Guild GAD Series D-125 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:
So I am writing again after Six months of playing this guitar. Since I bought this one I have purchased a "True American" D-4 acoustic solid top with mah sides and satin finish. And I played a D-30 with maple sides and a G-55 also with maple sides. This D-125 sounds pretty good and can hold its own. No it does ot sound better than the D-30 or G-55, but comparable to the D-4 which was three hundred used. Al these guitars were made in Waverly Pa and the quality is great. I am pleased the the Chinese model was on par not better but really good in sound playability, feel, materials, construction and looks.
When compared to the cheap Martins , Tak, Yanaha, and Ibanez, this guitar wins hands down in the five to eight hundred range. The set-up was so good I saved 10% not having to get a pro setup! And it came with a good quality case

Comments about Guild GAD Series D-125 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:
Great guitar. You can't ask for more in the price range. Consistent, and appealing to look at.
They come with feeble strings but most guitars do these days. Once you put on some DR's, problem solved.
If you're looking for a bright sounding QUALITY guitar with rich tone, this is one.
Oh, and the case is quality too. I honestly can't find anything bad to say about it.

Comments about Guild GAD Series D-125 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:
This is not a MIA Guild. It is a chinese made one. It looks great, good tuners, The finish is perfect. The neck plays like butter. But the best is the Sound. I played a room full of Martins, Lakewoods, Taylor and Some Tak's. I played everything in that room and this was the last guitar I played. It was 2000 euro cheaper than the next best guitar. I did not want to buy this guitar. I had to buy the guitar . It sounded so good that my wife paid for it..til I got home!
Generally I am not so excited about imported stuff, but for a fist full of dollars I got this special guitar.
I have Martin D15 and this is a great sounding satin finish versus the glossy finish of the chinese Guild. I like both guitars but the Martin is $400-500 more
